Xbox has momentum now for sure, but it's too early to say what will happen in next gen.
Personally I wish they would - I'd find it very interesting to how costs on big games like Halo and Call of Duty compare
What MS did in 2011 was incredible, capped off by an amazing holiday period. Will be curious to see if they keep that momentum this year or if Wii U and/or Sony puts the pressure on.
I think iPhones and tablets do have an impact on dedicated handhelds, but it's not as big a deal as so many have been saying.
Totally agree on the point about pricing. I would hope they learned their lesson with PS3. Launching at $599 is like committing suicide.
nice!
Yeay, yeah MW3. In other news... go Skyrim... wooooooo! Too bad it's behind that Just Dance crap.
Ouch. I surprised December was so low compared to last year.
It's in their best interest to say that, but I'd agree.
Great! Uncharted 3 is amazing. Naughty Dog continues to impress, hope they win.
I still think Vita's more likely to do better in Japan than in the West, just as the PSP did. Will be interesting to watch the Vita launch unfold next month.
While I doubt it, I wouldn't rule it out entirely, especially for Sony. Look at what the PS3 launch did to Sony's financials for years. It's a HUGE investment to launch yet another more powerful console. Sony's TVs aren't selling either.
Holy crap. I wonder if Gaikai knows something or if they're just blowing smoke up our butts.
Personally looking fw to seeing what Apple does next. iPad 2's already pretty awesome.
I agree. People still won't be ready to go all digital. Give it another 10 years, then it might happen.
Does it matter? Microsoft's strategy is working - they're selling tons of 360s.
I'd like to see more core games and less focus on Kinect, rather than more games trying to be core on Kinect.
AMD/ATI has had the upper hand with contracts with Nintendo and MS, whereas Sony went with Nvidia for PS3. But who knows, these relationships could change for the next gen.
I would love to see this happen.
Agree, it's probably a good time to pick up some shares. Nintendo likely to bounce back with Wii U!
