The next game should be less “bloated!” There’s to much going on, in my opinion. From side quests, errands, infinite green “?’s”. A plethora of weapon options, along with, dozens of combat combinations. I consider myself an above average gamer, I have spent 60 hours in forbidden west, and there are still moves I haven’t figured out, weapons I don’t use (bolt blaster). Perhaps thats all by design. Idc what company owns what developer. If theres really good content on a platform, then I will purchase the machine, games or subscription that I need to be able to use the content. If both Sony and MS pump out great games, then I’ll purchase their respective machine, especially now, that both machines seem to be stocked at my local big box stores. I read that as well. The game on harder difficulties is pretty easy if you get the infinite rocket launcher. You can get it for 1.6mil if you get the 20% off rocket launcher charm. Took me about chapter 14 on my second play through to be able to sell some guns and treasure to obtain it. While still being able to re purchase a hand gun and shotgun. Im not sure if using the launcher will disqualify me getting professional mode unlockables. There are still 2 chapter objectives that render it use...

All things aside, I like the unlockables of the original Resident evil 4 better. The unlockable weapons of the remake aren’t as easily attainable. Instead straight CP and Pesata’s, some now require you to beat the game on professional mode. That’s not going to be achievable for some RE gamers. Thats a mixed response you got there. I can’t disagree with you though, except that, there are alot more games to come out between now and January. There will be a few games that we don’t even know about yet.
I am pretty sure the Naughty Dog camp has stated that they aren’t going to make a TLOU3. If the HBO show continues to do well in its second season, they could always advance Ellie’s story through the show in a potential 3 season of the show, instead of making a full blown game. If the show flops, then they have the option of expanding the story through a 3rd game too. They have options it seems
You make a good point. They probably don't have an in house studio that can make a competent shooter to compete with the likes of Call of duty. To your point, Sony doesn’t have to. Theyre doing fine with their single player games. Not to twist it around, but Microsoft can’t even make a single player game that can compete with Sony’s 1st party titles. Sony doesnt need Call of Duty. The gamer does. If Call of duty is that much of a need then I will purchase an Xbox.
