What does everyone expect? Developers are being forced to try and implement next generation tech with last generation machines. This is going to hinder creative ideas of what the current generation is capable of. These are business decisions to maximize profits. There’s nothing wrong with that. Because of this, your going to keep seeing more and more generic gameplay conventions being implemented in new games.
It shouldn’t be. Yo gonna pay $6 a gallon to Cuz!!!!
Does he have them tagged backwards in this video? I think he does….
I must be getting old. Not this game or any other games announced interest me.
Yup yup!!! Psyched about this we are!!!
Even if the current generation machines were available to everyone, the machines were never designed to obliterate the last generation consoles. If that were the case then they would be charging a lot more then they are for a PS5 or an Xbox series X. These machines are a gentle evolution into a new era of gaming. In a few years we will be complaining that these consoles are having a difficult time running new games and the Xbox series X Pro and PS5 pro gamers will be the ones with the advanta...
They need to do something. Nintendo faithfuls are gonna gobble this game up and they should. For Elden Ring players???? They’re going to take a big proverbial dump all over it. Nintendo has an opportunity to perfect this open world balance. Elden Ring is flawed. For some reason there was a middle ground that FROM software didn’t venture into, but I believe they eventually will. If they hit that sweet spot then, this new and improved, open world, Souls formula is not only going to dominate ga...
I hate elden ring. Worst game I’ve ever sunk 100 hours into but for some reason I keep coming back for more.
If I beat elden ring, should I go back and try demon souls again? I gave up on that game after the first area.
I’ve never played a game that makes me hate until I quit and then pick it up 2 days later and play again. Advance further, hate it all over again….
From Software’s throwback to the days of old. Pattern based enemies, cheap hit boxes, a massive over world teaming with baddies around every corner. Anyone my age that grew up with Nintendo remembers the punishingly difficult games like ninja gaiden, ghosts and goblins, dragon warrior, castlevania and etc…. Any NPC you’d meet along the way would drop down a very quick text read and you’d be on your way without any guidance. You were lucky if you could make it to the end of a dungeon, beat the...
I can’t imagine this is going to be an enjoyable experience. Even if it works lol. Even if you can roll, the camera animation would be so erratic and disorienting. I only want to see this work, so I can watch people rage, punch holes in their walls, and gronk spike their VR headsets on the floor
They way I see it is let another developer copy this format, and then add east mode. It’s up to the gamer to decide wether or not to purchase a game
Like this. If I buy a music album, and don’t like it. I don’t demand the artist rewrite the music. I just won’t buy the album. The game is overly difficult though.
No patches for this! It’s what makes this great. For every time you get cheesed, there’s an equal cheesing to the enemies.
I can agree with this. With games being able to be changed dramatically now, via updates. A developer can do a bait and switch just like that.
How many more resources do people want rockstar to dump into a 9 year old game? I’d like to think the developers focus, is on something new as opposed to dedicating too much time on an aging title. In my opinion the updates are pretty good for $10. 60fps, quicker loading of the map, haptic feedback on the dual sense and etc. i haven’t played the main story in years and I’m finding it enjoyable on the PS5.
I’ve seen a giant with a pumpkin head smashing it into the ground. Now I have a metal pumpkin helmet. I despise this game, it’s dirty, cheap, and frustrating. For some reason I keep playing it, swearing out loud, and making my family mad.
I haven’t played it in a few years and purchased the update. So far I love it in performance RT mode, it runs smooth, looks great for a game that originally released for the ps3, Xbox360. I like that they implemented the haptic triggers of the dual sense. It’s a decent update for an older game
Like every FROM game before it, elden ring isn’t for everybody. It’s punishingly difficult like their other games. For gamers that don’t have a lot of time on their hands, Ubisoft open world games and other open world games are perfect. You can dink around for an hour or two, save your game and be done until next time. Elden Ring is a grinder. You need to invest a lot of time to progress. If you have the time, it really is a great open world game. If you only have an hour or so to spare a ses...
I’m all for a remake!!! All
They need to do is update the visuals, leave the game alone and most importantly, the most important thing, let us skip the cut scenes! Especially after you die to a boss. Let me skip the 3-5 minute intro and get on with my life. Second thing is, leave the game alone!!! I played through the final fantasy 7 remake. After you get used to the battle system, it feels wonky and broken. Let Cloud, Barret, Tifa all take turns in battle as opposed to forcing me to...
