Close your eyes and imagine it’s 1984. In your hand is the black joystick that barely moves, with the one red button. Your playing pitfall, and thinking “this should be a spiderman game!” Fast forward 40 years and I finally have the child hood game, I dreamed of. This game can be nitpicked all anyone wants. I could never have imagined a game like spiderman would even be possible when I was a kid. I feel fortunate to be able to play games like this, even with their slight flaws. Don’t get me ...
What kind of article is this? Seems very speculative. Even if this holds true, one must remember, you can’t win the super bowl every year. However, I believe this has been a solid console cycle, considering the pandemic circumstances and whatnot. Sony is doing pretty good, and there seems to be a good amount of third party titles that look promising to keep gamers busy. Its been awhile since i’ve been this enthusiastic about upcoming games. I feel like things had been stale for awhile. Why po...
What about RE1? I feel like RE5 is when the series kinda stepped backwards, and then a little further back with RE6. Im not saying dont remake them, im just surprised they haven’t overhauled and remade the original
It’s just becoming hurtful at this point……Why??? People just want to be left alone….
It means Sony, should do the exact opposite of what Xbox is trying to do, because what Sony is doing, is working for the time being.
Can companies like Nintendo, say No, if a company likes Microsoft wants to purchase them?
Sony should try and a acquire square-enix, as a slap in the face for Microsoft’s Bethesda acquisition, and attempted hijacking of Activision/Blizzard. #Therecanonlybeone!”
It reads like the studio is just proud of what they’ve done and are confident they have a hit on their hand. I enjoyed the last 2 games. Very easy to get hooked on trying to unlock every suit, power, and every side quest. I find them to be very accessible to gamers of all types.
Remember the first time you shot an arrow into someone’s neck? That was the first time I had ever seen a grisly, death animation! I don’t even think you had to hit the enemies in the head for that to happen. I can’t remember the dino death animations. I do recall, wandering around forever though, in green corridors that we’re supposed to simulate a dense forest. Its been a long time…..
Im wondering if some of the emptiness is to make space (no pun intended) for modders to do their thing without having much in their way. Perhaps development thinking was, “why waste resources, stuffing the world full, when modders are going to do it anyways.” I might be completely full of s*** with that way of thinking.
Not sure what I was hoping for. I thought with some time, new hardware to work on, that character models would be greatly improved over Fallout 4 and skyrim. They seem better for sure, but something is still off lol.
If this game is great, then it should be a lesson to other developers.
Not overhyped at all lol
Have faith lol! I don’t blame you for taking a wait and see approach
Im all for them stalling. I’m happy we didn’t end up with a huge, empty, open world castlevania. Playing Witcher 3, I was thinking about how cool it could have been if it was a Castlevania game. There have been so many open world, games the last 5-10 years. My fear was that a Castlevania would come out of the woodwork, with a big bloated, boring open world, and lose its essence in the process, trying to compete with similar games. If Konami does decide to reinvigorate the franchise, I would b...
What kind of an article is this? Click bait? Rockstar thinks they are the “Beatles!” They can just toss anything onto a storefront, charge whatever they want and people will buy it! I don’t want to believe what im witnessing from this developer. Perhaps its their publisher calling these shots. This company better deliver on GTA 6, or that will be the turning point for them. They will go down like the New England Patriots after Brady left.
They can only do so much with the game engine. From what I’ve seen, it looks like it’s going to be great. Is it going to feel familiar after playing the original and Miles Morales? I would assume so. There’s only so much they can do. Im sure there will be some cool wrinkles. Being able to use the Venom suit will make the game feel fresh. Adding suburbs should help the map feel different enough. The only thing is that, if you didn’t enjoy the first two entries, chances are you won’t like this ...
Don’t overthink it! My kid can have a ps5 in his bedroom now
“darth72” if they change the title to that, you should win a free copy of the game or somethin’!!! That’s a great call!!! Lol
One last thing. The person who wrote this article should own it. The author plays it safe at the end. I agree with the point of the article. Open world games have become bloated with too much repetitive side content. Hopefully this is an end to an era of those types of games. For example, Assassin’s Creed going more compact in its level design. I wonder if we are going to see more of that, for the next few years.
