This is gonna be a good one. Just started god of war. Elden ring is a different demon all together though. God of war is more approachable having a crazy amount of accessibility options and difficulty settings. Obviously elden ring developers don’t give an F about holding gamers hands. It’s not so much the leaking of content, but the leaking code and other things. This person should be prosecuted to the fullest extent. It’s the fans of the gta franchise that are going to be punished for things like this.
Resident evil 1 and 2 comes to mind. More resident evil 1 with its remasters over the years. At least resident evil 2 changes things up a bit. For a remake I would’ve liked to have seen the last of us remake throw some curve balls during my playthrough. It’s exactly the same game. Not sure why it’s called a remake.
Haven’t played this since the ps4. Definitely a hybrid remake/remaster. So far I’m enjoying the new visuals, 60fps and etc…. So far the animations in the violence is what has me in a state of “did that just happen?” I don’t remember headshots being so brutally realistic on the PS4 remastered version.

I get what your saying. Trying to play the original is impossible nowadays. Your correct, a remaster would’ve been awful as well. We’ve come a long way since then. What turned me off with the remake, was the cheesy side stuff, and the battle system. I don’t mind switching between characters. Played through the remake. Went back to play it on PS5. It’s garbage. I agree with the gamers that just wanted a graphical and audio overhaul. There was no need to try and reinvent the wheel.
Saw some gameplay video of this game. I wasn’t impressed.
The problem is that square Enix feels compelled to tinker with the old school combat mechanics and try this real time BS.
It’s like someone trying to explain “Grateful dead” music. Like me as a gamer I am not sophisticated or smart enough to understand the in game narrative. I put a lot of time into elden ring. Loved it, but story telling this is not!
