I was more thinking of how some games beat you over the head with polished cutscenes, tons of dialogue and constant stoppages of gameplay. I played through Elden Ring, and didn’t like the experience at first. I had gotten used to games being narrative driven. For example, Horizon forbidden west, The last of us and etc…. Going back to Elden Ring, I appreciate it more. The game lets you play and explore with minimal interruptions. The narrative is there, but its behind the gameplay and not in front if the gameplay like a game such as Final Fantasy 7 rebirth. Which I also enjoyed. Thats just my two cents

People will upgrade their cellphone every 2 years or so, and without a “ripoff” cellphone plan will spend $500-$1200 to upgrade their phone. Paying $500-$600 for a console upgrade every 3 years doesn’t seem that extraordinary.
There are alot of side excursions, none really being necessary. There are a few moments in the game that force your hand into some of the silly minigames. Other then that, this is probably, in my opinion, the best final fantasy since, its original FF7. The game is sensory overload, unique, and very ambitious for what it is
and pay for a $10 60fps console update a year after that 😂

I agree, something about the trailer for this game looks kinda, meh….More and more games that are remasters are using the word “remake!” Now. Final fantasy 7, despite how people received it, is a remake! TLOU, RE4, amongst some other titles, are borderline remasters. Resident evil 2, on the other hand, felt more like a genuine remake to me then re4, despite the core of the games being the same. I know people will disagree with me, and what actually constitutes a remake or a remaster.
Why is this being called a remake and not a remaster? If they plan on charging $70 then its not worth it. Unless you’ve never played one of these games, then I can see shelling that out.
I’ve wanted a bioshock sequel for awhile. Im totally cool with how this game is coming along. They were having development issues, perhaps they rebuilt it to be bioshocky
oh, how the mighty have fallen! I had hope for this one. After Gotham Knights, I decided to wait and see on Suicide Squad. I'm not happy I did. I'm disappointed because of what I've seen and read about this game today. I wanted rocksteady to redeem themselves and apparently, this game ain't the one
For anyone thats played it, the $10 upgrade isn’t a bad deal. In my opinion, I think gamers are getting remaster fatigue. Developers are remastering games, nobody asked for. Where is “rdr 2, or batman arkham knight?”

It’s really good and I hope more people give it a chance when they get around to it. It’s twice the game that remake tried to be.
