The amount they are behind 360 at this point is great.
Remember the argument a section of playstation fans used to justify the 360 sales? "rrod is inflating the sales as consumers are buying again"

Phil Spencer is the guy that is turning the xbox one around from the disaster that it could have been.

Id say by "current" they are meaning non-4k games. That is what i suffice as current games, so i would expect performance to be around base xbox one/ps4
depends on the developmental tools this will use. Could be as simple as a direct port which would be minimal work for a talented development studio

Playstation is for the Playstation players. If it was for the "gamers" collectively then everyone would have one.
I dont have a playstation, i have an xbox one (day one launch edition) and have had no complaints about it whatsoever. I have a current backlog of 187 games. (no games lol) in those 187 i think about a third are "microsoft" exclusives or however categorising them makes PS4 fans feel better.
I also have a PC but it is not up...
The Wii U is the only nintendo console that has not been a major success for nintendo. That was in part down to 3rd party abandonment i guess. Luckily with the switch they seem to have corrected that and i fully expect the Switch to be very successful for ninty
So why would Sony want to have playstation now on the PC? If the correlation between the two platforms is bad for microsoft? (even though if you buy the game on PC Microsoft still make a sale on software)
Either way if you buy a "microsoft" exclusive regardless of platform Microsoft have made a sale
I dont understand why some people want microsoft to fail in things they do.
Think about it logically, what kind of world would we be technology wise without them? Nearly every business uses some form of microsoft product whether it be operating system, office software, web browser etc.
If microsoft go under (wont happen) the world would be affected. If Sony go under (wont happen) we will just lose another electronics manufacturer
