be like xbox one to xbox one X, just a patch.
Will prob be the same on PS4/5, just a patch
Got too admit i still have my 360, it was the place to play at the time, but somehow the Microsoft suits lost sight of that.
Thankfully with Phil and Co at the helm, xbox is starting to get back to the place to play and i am looking for more details on the Series X (mainly the cost)
@Vokun
I know you must be that guy, but i have never owned a Sony system in my life. I am not a fanboy, i too deal with facts. The FACT is that Sony has won this gen in console sales hands down.
The software tie ratio may be higher on xbox, and they may have the superior networking infrastructure, but that alone does not make you money. Like i said Microsoft have made massive improvements over the years.
If, like you say, you base your ...
There is no denying that Sony has the largest audience, and the brand name is more widespread than xbox, anyone saying otherwise has rose tinted glasses on.
Being an xbox owner since the original xbox, it has never been in doubt that Sony has always sold more consoles than Microsoft.
But Microsoft are getting better at what they do and i think next-gen will be an improvement on this one for them and i expect the Series X to outsell the xbox one by a comfo...
Probably because i also said "(Can not speak for PS5 as i am unsure on their stance on back compat/forward compat etc)"
They would just need to patch the game like they did with the xbox one X, it is different to a complete port from different hardware.
By your logic the xbox one x enhanced games have all been ported from the xbox one? Even though you can use the same disc on both consoles?
Would that not be a series X/PS5 update, as opposed to a complete port?
Why the need to port, this will work on series X already, just will not have the Series X bells and whistles.
As stated by Ubisoft "What I can tell you is that we are not making a specific version for those consoles"
So the base version will be readily available
(Can not speak for PS5 as i am unsure on their stance on back compat/forward compat etc)
Hellblade 2 was in-engine, not CGI, nice try though
Can not speak for you personally, but i am still playing the original Doom so....
I thought Playstation gamers have no desire to play "last-gen" games? /s
I can see this being true for Xbox, but sadly not Playstation.
Here is just one of the rumours
https://www.reddit.com/r/pc...
and another
https://www.ccn.com/xbox-se...
Xbox is its own division within Microsoft, as playstation is its own division within Sony.
So both statements are correct
@Razzer
I think you mean to say the xbox division is in competition with the Playstation division
Microsoft isnt competing with Sony, Microsoft do not manufacture tv's, cameras etc
The xbox will be competing with PS5, obviously, but how can Microsoft compete with Sony's TV division?
@thegamez
Have you not heard the rumour that the series X might have a Windows 10 mode?
If that turns out to be true and Steam and epic games store is accessible through series X, that will be a game changer and massively open up the library of games available to be played on the home console.
@2pacalypsenow
So i take it you have the same stance with Netflix, Amazon Prime etc?
Or just Microsoft?

@Ultra
I dont get the "Microsoft will have no exclusives in the first 2 years" argument.
Everyone knows that Microsoft no longer have exclusives and they even announced this during one of their E3 conferences. All Microsoft games going forward from that announcement have been backwards and forwards compatible so....
with the Elite controller V2, and keyboard mouse support (hopefully) should be a good battle
