So after 3/4 years you shelled out over £600, just on a graphics card alone. That will not even be the price of the Series X.

You can not compare what one console owner would spend against a PC player, as the variables will differentiate with each case.

Depends on how much of a loss the manufacturers are willing to take to get the install base up. My guess with Microsoft is they will be willing to take a larger hit than Sony, as Sony will sell on name alone.
I predict the Xbox Series X may be the cheaper of the 2, whether that will translate into higher sales, that is another story.

The original xbox was manufactured in Mexico, so could always have it manufactured there.
They could even manufacture the xbox series X in the US if they are concerned about delays. My view is Coronavirus will be dealt with by May, and the consoles will still release this holiday.
