Published October 2007 - liquid metal cooling solutions, wonder why manufacturers still stick to fans/water cooling as the preferred method.

"Xbox gamers are going to be buying working betas on launch day."
But the Series X is getting reviewers hands on with the console, are you not suspect that the PS5 is not getting the same so close to launch?
@potato
"In a separate video, Giant Bomb co-host Jeff Bakkalar said his pre-release console was emitting a significant amount of heat even when in standby mode, and even appeared to burn his hand on its storage expansion during a live stream."
You mean the live stream where he claimed it was "hot", but then held it to the camera for around 2 minutes? that one?
"“Here’s what’s crazy… this was just plugged in in ...

funny, no mention of thermal issues??
@iretrouk
" so yes some guys saying the system runs hot means the system runs hot, they even mention being under nda...."
So they have just breached the NDA by talking about it haven't they?
"Zeref, your damage control knows no bounds🤦♂️🤣, first it was fake, now its just the ssd?... nope lol,"
Have you seen the video? He has the SSD in his hand and that is what he is shaking it...
Decent price point that as well.
£90 - i paid the same for my current wireless Tbeach.
This is the best looking next-gen game i have seen so far :-

They may tout it as a "system seller" like Demon's souls?
He is correct, 4K is not even the standard yet, so 8K is years off.
Both Series X/PS5 are capable of 8K output (upscaled from 4K etc), but neither will do Native 8K. At the end of the day, i don't feel like spending £10,000 on a TV lol.
Ray tracing support will be spotty being supported in most 3rd party titles, until say 2-3 years into the gen. Mainstream ray tracing support etc will come primarily from Microsoft's and Sony's 1st party. ...
@Hellcat
Things engraved onto computer chips etc, are more to the creators/designers of the console as opposed to the gamer.
Just like the master chief helmet inside the series X, no one is ever going to see it but it is a marker for the xbox design team.
4K was engraved on the One X, but few games actually support native. They have the right to engrave 8K, as the machine itself can theoretically output things at 8K (Just like when we h...
"liquid metal cooling solution."
LMAO is it a T1000?
Or do you mean thermal paste? Or do you mean 2007 tech?
But did he burn his hand?
Did he show his hand afterwards?
What is his tolerance to heat? and did he show a thermometer reading of the SSD?
Chances are no to all
I heard it has red ring of death?
Did they have a thermometer in the video displaying the temperature of the system?
So some guy shaking his hand must mean the system is hot? Is that what we are going off now lmao
Obviously people can not read and understand.
I said 1 console out of 5. Not the failure rate itself, simple version :-
OG Xbox - no mass failure
Xbox 360 - Mass failure issues (RROD, DVD Drives, etc)
Xbox 360 slim - no mass failure
Xbox One - no mass failure
Xbox One X - no mass failure
1 console out of 5 had a design/failure issue.
I hope now people understand my initial comment.
...
Obviously not a fan of doom
Doom - 84
Doom eternal - 88

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, yours is just in the minority.
