My main point is that in most if not all scenarios for publishers/developers placing their game on gamepass it is profitable. Whether that be down to the upfront contract/pay per download/or DLC charges.
When the game is leaving gamepass, they offer you to purchase to keep through a reduced pricing model, which in return, nets the developers/publishers even more income. Some of these purchases would come from gamers that would otherwise, not buy ...
According to a small number though, gamepass is not profitable for 3rd party developers/publishers /s
On topic, i will be downloading Control tonight.
Do Sony offer a customization service for accessories? If not, i think it would be a good addition for them to do so, with the DS5 being as popular as it is, there must be a lot of gamers with some good colour scheme ideas.

Yeah i got a 4.5GB update for the Series X version also.
It is just Sony fans that say gamepass is not good value.
If it wasn't, and pubs/devs lost money, more and more gamers would not be adopting it, and more and more publishers/developers would not be putting their games on it.
MS - "hey, put your game on our service, it bleeds money and will offer no value to you as a publisher, it's just an option"

Better than 2.2 to 3 million for PSnow though ain't it? especially with a 1:3 userbase across all platforms.

PS5 - 4.2 million
But yet only around 3 million opt to pay the subscription fee.

Are you including gamepass for PC in your statistical assessment? As to make a statement about the service, you would need to include ALL platforms gamepass is on, so xbox/pc/android.
At the end of the day, if you censor and erase history, it is doomed to repeat itself. As bad and harsh people might think about the subjects, it is always better to educate about how bad history was, so it never happens again.
But these days, people are all for "we do not believe in labels!!!" yet when you go against the narrative, you are given a label by said people who claim they do not believe in labels.
