There are a lot of games that i would never have thought or let alone even bothered playing if not for gamepass.
Train sim world and farming simulator has got me into sim games, a plague tale, hellblade, superhot, final fantasy series.
Now i can check out yakuza series which i would never have bothered with, and Microsoft flight simulator when it releases.
For me personally, it has made me not buy a new boxed game for around 8-12 months...

No, i think gamer7804 is speaking in general, when he is saying "so many games released now don't perform the best or well at launch" referring to the many games that do launch with issues, and the list can be extensive.
They are just basically stating that if these games are on gamepass, you do not need to go to the hassle of paying for a broken game and then getting a refund.

More to the point, why would anyone pay for a "copy" of the source code lmao. Add to the fact that this data is pre-launch cyberpunk code, (given away by the modified date of 05-Feb-2021)
This will probably work out well for CDPR, there is no such thing as bad publicity, this will throw them in the limelight, and the source code stolen will not get sold, nor will it get much use before all those responsible for hacking are behind bars lol.

No that is not what the approval is for. They can not dictate what platforms they put games on.
Approval is for competition purposes, to keep a level playing field, and Bethesda and Zenimax have enough competition for this to be approved without hesitation.
3rd parties will submit what they need, and then a decision will be made, chances are approved.
