Mediocre is being very kind. Motion control = crap games, regardless what brand logo is on the hardware.
After watching the videos, it shows me that newer isn't always better in the tech world, or an improvement in how to do things.
I'm thinking it is more fun to watch people make asses out of themselves playing, than it would be to play these types of games myself.
What he says is true - that Kinect is not trying to move the core to the broad. They are trying to get a slice of that Wii market pie, just like Sony with the Move. They could care less about the core moving over to this product. They are looking for new customers that are not core gamers.

That's because a lot of fanboys are total posers when it comes to technology. They like to pretend they know about tech, because gaming is technology based. But in reality most fanboys seem to demonstrate a 3rd grader's knowledge about tech.
I think if you are truely someone interested in technology, it is impossible to be a a fanboy, because you see the good & bad ideas from all companies for what they really are.
Funny that I still see the occasional argument against Blu Ray...funny because when I was in a Best Buy store a few days ago, I noticed most of their movie section is now Blu Ray, and one small row was DVD.

It's funny that there is so much "drama" regarding a few new CASUAL gamer interfaces on the market. These are just kiddy toys, and not for playing more advanced games. I have a Move BTW, and that is what I bought it for...for when the kids are all gathered around to play.

I think it is just comical, even when they are trying to be serious when devs have pixels engage in sex. Whenever I see that in a game, I have to laugh at the "serious" attempts to be adult. The result is always comedy, and I am sitting there asking, "Really? They thought this was cool?" Bwahahaha.

I doubt it destroys the console. But fan motors don't last forever. Running the fan at ultra high speed, just because you think it might blow out some dust sounds like bad advice to me.
Absolutley. The DLC later released for Assasin's Creed 2 was originally going to be part of the game, but they cut it because they thought it made the story too long. So why would this be different for the next game in the series by the same dev?

While everyone spilts hairs, they should remember a manufacturer sells wholesale to a retail store, which in turn sells it retail to a consumer. Just like automobiles on a dealer's lot, those cars are "sold" vehicles from the manufacturer's perspective. All game hardware on the shelves at the retail store is considered sold by the manufacturer.
Played the demo. It was fun, and one of those games that both kids & adults would like (kids old enough to read that is, since all dialog is text)
