Kotick cares about the best interest of gamers? Someone better check to see if his nose is growing when he says these kinds of things.
Played the demo. It is totally lame.
I'll believe it when I see it at the store, haha. The little boy cried wolf one too many times here.
Space is the defining line between real games & fluff games these days.
Real games - you need only your seat, game rig & video screen
fluff games - lots of space needed to do little dances & flail your arms around
In other news, a Coca Cola executive didn't have nice things to say about Pepsi.
LOL
Easy to say from the comfort of your computer. You shouldn't make those kinds of proclimations unless you are putting your own ass on the front line. It sounds disconnected & disingenuous.
lol, considering your brand logo avatar, we get why you don't understand why this game will be hugely popular. Your agenda is clear. Forza rules. Riiiight, haha.
I didn't read it because it was 10 pages.
WTF? Focus, and get to the point. I don't have an hour of time to devote to reading a review.
Very twisted IMO.
There is not a solidier in all of us. The suggestion is ridiculous & insulting. I have played plenty of violent games, and am not on a soapboax against them. But give me a break on the geeking out on war as being sold to us as something really cool.
One of the few strikes against GT5 IMHO - some BS fictional cars in the "real driving simulator"
The eye sees in analog - continuos motion, not sampling snapshots. Those that often claim what the eye can't see or what the ear can't hear are those behind championing a certain technical standard, and not doing deep studies on this. There is perception between the "minimum needed" frames or resolution in the analog world. This is not easily expressed in terms of what level of detail you consciously realize you are detecting. In the audio world, these impressions are someti...
Someone once said, "you don't want to be the leader in your field. You want to do what nobody else is doing."
Fallout is such a unique & satisfying game (when it works), that people buy it anyway, because there really isn't anything else that makes a better substitute. Bethesda is successful for this game's uniqueness, but not for it's quality (or lack there of).
I think your point would only matter if a brand was clinging to life, casting a shadow of uncertainty to devs. At this time in the game, there is money to be made for developers, regardless which platform they are working with. There is no shadow of doubt that both brands are here to stay, with both having a large customer base.
Very close really when talking numbers that big. For gamers, it doesn't matter who sells the most, as long as there is healthy competetition to keep these companies continually driving to improve their products.
What's made Blu Ray slow to take over DVD is the price jump of 10 dollars per movie. I don't buy DVD's anymore, but I buy fewer Blu Rays than I used to buy DVDs, because they are 30 dollars on average instead of 20 dollars.
I can't go back to old tech, that's for sure. But let's get real on movie prices. Why pay 30 dollars or more for a movie? Not many movies can you watch multiple times, so I am starting to have less desire to collect movies if it i...
There are a lot of factors involved in making an "eye" comparison. But in general, the resolution of this Ultra HD is comparable to analog film. Digital technology has been slowly working it's way up to getting to the place where it can equal analog in visual quality. When we are approaching that level, there will not be much practical reasons for increasing resolution even further, because then you are getting into the realm of more detail than the eye can see.
Sony, Panasonic, Pioneer - I'd say these three have beeen at the top of the game in recent years with great HD picture quality. All good, and no need to act like little children over. LG & others are also good, but not the innovators in TV tech.
Agreed. This is a widely reported issue that I also experienced too many times. One of the lamest bugs you can have with any software is repeated lockups that force you to reboot your system to break out of it.
This is one of those games where I'll believe it when I actually see it on the store shelf.
ultimate revenge...2007 is calling you. It said it wants it's joke back.
