All I know is that I have the game installing as I type this. All game site reviews are out the window for me, and there is no point for me to read them now. I'll form my OWN opinion of it, and give feedback when I have spent some time with it.
Regrdless of timing when the PC version game came out, you can no longer call a game exclusive once it is on another platform. That defies the definition of 'exclusive'.
People are annointing game "crowns", based on IGN reviews? Now that is pretty funny.
I think the pros & cons pointed out are what people who know the GT series well were already expecting.
I don't expect great AI from GT's NPC cars. I don't expect cars to behave correctly when bumped in a race. I do expect the physics to be above any other game, and the graphics to be the best.
And I have a copy of the game in my hand right now, knowing what to expect. And I am stoked about it.
Exclusive to Playstation? No, I played that game on PC when it came out.
Uncharted series is a great game.
But remember folks, don't expect much from movies adapted from games. Hollywood isn't trying to create "art" here. They are trying to cash in.

Putting the Top Gear track in the game = free pub from that show.
This kind of coverage is why there is not a ton of money being thrown into an ad campaign by Sony. When you appeal to auto/motorsport enthusiasts, there will be a lot of free pub going out to a vast group of people that don't normally even pay attention to video games.
If anyone thinks I am defending Fox, they are mistaken. I am merely pointing out the reason they came about.
Personally, I loathe the Democratic & Republican parties equally. The two party system serves the elite party members, not the country. That is why they fight each other for power, and put the goal of beating the other side as their top priority. Even if the country is going down the sh*tter, the elitist party members just bicker & get nothing done.
I think they want to be able to pick up hookers with the cars, do the deed, kill them, take their money, then go buy new 24" rims & hydraulics for bling.

LOL that people are not looking directly at Microsoft when they raise fees. I am no fan of Activision, but will point out they aren't the ones charging you to play.
Since I will be asleep at midnight, I guess I can't say it is due to having more of a life than those outside, awake, waiting in line.
A dev can work for several years, putting thousands of options in a game...and will still get dinged by the complainers for not including their personal trivial desires in it.
Fox news programming is the direct result of mainstream media bias to the left. Not saying Fox is a reliable source of info, but it is clear to see that it is a backlash to the idiocy of the far left in the USA.
Pretty much all journalists these days are biased. Most are college grad liberals that want to change the world with their reporting. Many TV stations have political leanings & agendas. You have to read between the lines in all news reports.

Bigger - well not many games coming out are as large in scope as this racing sim, if you read about the game's scope.
Last generation? What are you smoking? This game looks like a graphical powerhouse to me.
You just have to buy games knowing they are just games, and for fun. Then if they deliver on that, you will never be disapointed in your purchase.

They have a sh*tload of free marketing...from all these websites. Scan N4G and count how many of the articles are about this game.
Funny read. I am curious to hear more real world opinions, because so far all the previews have been with paid actors pretending to have great fun...and they all look like they came straight from the old 1950's "Leave It To Beaver" show.
Is 86 a bad score for a video game? We are in wierd times these days with cynical gamers everywhere. It is the bratty blogging generation IMO. If a game doesn't get 9's & 10's the cynics act like it is a major flop or something.
