It is selling not even close to PSP numbers.
In the first 7 months on the market the PS Vita is tracking 1 million behind the PSP in its first 7 months. And the PSP did not even launch in PAL-terretories (Europe, Australia, South Korea) in this timeframe.
So the PS Vita is lacking 1 million behind with worldwide numbers than the PSP with Japan + NA numbers only.

Look at Halo 4, TLOU, Gears of War 3 or Uncharted... and now imagine what these developers would be able to create with a 6-8 times more powerful hardware.
It will be 2-3 times as powerful as the Wii U, which is more powerful than 360 and PS3.

I think Halo 4, Forza Horizon, CoD Black Ops 2, Assassin's Creed 3, Borderlands 2 this year and Gears of War: Judgement, Splinter Cell Blacklist, Bioshock Infinite early next year is a very good way to end a generation.

The last core exclusive Sony had was Starhawk or Journey and the next one will be The Last of Us or God of War in March 2013. 1 year in between. The last core exclusive MS had was The Witcher 2 or Minecraft or Trials and the next one will be Halo 4. 7 months in between.

When I bought my 360 in November 2005, I did not expect all the things it actually offered.
Back then, it was just logical that GTA, Resident Evil, Tekken, Final Fantasy, Metal Gear Solid or Devil May Cry were Playstation exclusives. I haven't even heard of VoD, which is a very good alternative to disc format movies. I still own and buy DVDs / BluRays, but VoD is another welcome addition. Especially for movies I am not sure if they are good.
