This game is looking very promising.
Glad they're developers are finally taking advantage of pc's capabilities. They money is there is your game isn't junk!
If you actually analyze the graphics you can tell they are definitely rendered. However, it does look freaking great!
Having the game run full screen, I'm sure you'll notice the little things more easily, especially in motion, but it's still going to look sick.
Wow. I don't think anyone can argue with those visuals.
Can't wait!
Like Heroes...
The first season was great.
Then...I dunno. Writers strike or something. It was bad.
Hard Reset :)
Fisher? Is that you?
What about Hard Reset?
Intense, tough, and gorgeous, all with that old school all out feel.
If they work on the selection, I'll be all over this. I like it.
What about the latest prince of persia, forgotten sands?
That was a great game, and true to the series.
I'm hoping more is on the way. One of my favorite series of all time!
Gears and Uncharted both look very good, but in different ways.
Who cares which looks better? I'm enjoying them both over here. Too many games to spend time bickering about them.
That's an engine that should be marketed out.
It runs like a beast.
Thus, I will be buying their next game :)
I love a developer who supports their loyal customers. It pays off for both in the end.
AMD dominates on price/performance, and audio (integrated 7.1 hd audio decoder, yes sir!).
True HD audio? 7.1? Both of which are missing from todays consoles (with the exception of the ps3's in game 7.1).
Is there a rule stating that the graphics must be mediocre on these games? The geometric detail is rather simple...they could at least throw in some fancy lighting or something.
This is a game that screams pc release.
Honestly, when the game hit shelves I just assumed it was on PC and was pretty disappointing when I found out it wasn't...
I think cutting back to the basics and honing in on what made the series great is a good idea.
The last two tittles, while great, where beginning to become saturated with things that weren't necessary to the game. Upgrading shops, and having groups of assassins with you and doing your bidding I could definitely do without.
I actually like Origin, can't wait to browse around and see what I can find.
This I agree with.
To single out the disk entirely would be a mistake, but making it optional is a good idea.
I like to buy, and sell my games. Without a drive, that is impossible unless they allow us to trade licenses with other uses (not going to happen).
I personally use steam on my pc, but I still prefer to have that disk in my hand when I want it. I only buy games on Steam when they are dirt cheap, and I won't change that for a console.
It looks great. Still one of the best looking games ever. I really don't understand why people can't see that...
