My favorite quote of all time!
Why not just stick with the Portal look? It's 2012...we have the processing power...
Success is being copied.
Or something like that.
How do you get access to the demo??
Toned down, yes, but still very much a part of the gameplay.
Some areas can't be destroyed for tactical reasons. I like it better the way they've done it this time.
It is disappointing however, when you want to go through a wall and cant.
Flame on?
Geeze dude...take a breather.
It's still Battlefield...
This just opens the door up for people who want a little variety in their life.
And not everyone likes teamwork(although I'm all for it). Just saying.
I'm amped about this! I like the wide open environments, but there is something to be said about close quarter combat. Can't wait to see how destruction plays a roll in maneuvering through hallways.
Who need doors when you have RPG's?
I'm generally against DLC,
but...
SOLD!
I feel like BF3 was worth the bucks out of the box, and this truly adds more to the game. Not just some cash in that should have been in the box.
I'll take it :)
Looks great. Can't wait for release.
That song is a remix of Awolnation's, Sail. Good stuff :)
PS3 runs on OpenGl. Not Direct X.
It's impossible to run Direct X without modifying the PS3's base code, although the gpu is capable of doing so.
Maybe Direct X 11 "style" graphics, but not true direct x 11.
I know several Mac owners, most of them are young hipsters, businessmen, or senior citizens. None of which tend to invest in video games.
It's not a great market, why would developers want to risk their cash? I wouldn't.
On top of that, the hardware is pretty limited.
I really liked Crysis, and Crysis 2(although it was quite different). I can't wait to see more from this title.
Wow. That's just amazing looking. I've never saw a game look this good. Photo realistic in a lot of scenes.
I agree. I'll wait.
This gen is tapped out.
Dead Space is one of those games where graphics actually makes it better. Shadows, ambiance, character deformation, etc etc.
You won't regret either card. The 7870 is quite the beast. Maxes out Battlefield 3 @ 1080p with around 60fps, a few small dips. I'm sure the 7850 would suit you just fine.
Gah, just bought a 7870...
Any chance of a reimbursement for early adopters? No.
Ah, still a good card :)
While some laptops do run in this configuration, it's because you can use a low powered, low energy APU, and then combine it when you need more power. This isn't needed in a console as you're not dealing with battery life.
Asus makes great products by the way.
This just shows you how far behind consoles are in the hardware race, that's all.
The rumor is a CPU with an integrated graphics chip.
Not an CPU with integrated graphics chip, and a gpu. That defeats the purpose of a single chip design; less heat, less cost, and compact design.

I've not been this excited for a racing game in a long long time. Can't wait!
It's working pretty great here.
Although, to be honest I never noticed any image quality dip on the previous drivers...
If it runs smooth and looks good, I'm generally pretty happy. I don't much stop to analyze textures while I'm bringing down MComs.
