Actually, you can't just plop a game onto pc and have it run. It takes a lot of additional programming. You have to program it to install, run on various cpu's, and core setups, pc specific controls and menus, etc, etc.
Not to mention testing for driver support and correcting any errors and crashes.
The team is probably fully booked just working on the console versions.
I don't mind waiting as long as it's going to come out right.
"Unofficial support for 640×480 and 800×600 resolution through command line"...
Awesome...so now I can run it on my netbook?
I know right.
I mean just check out that move he's doing.
Sliding with the deck below the rail? Intense.
Better than rushing it out the door.
I'd much rather wait on something that works, than hurry up and have something that's busted.
Take your time.
Not every game needs a beta. Sometimes a nice demo, especially from a good developer is all you really need.
Multiplayer, that's the exception really.
Currently, with the developer build, you can switch back and forth.
It's like windows, and then windows with a touch interface gui.
This is a great game.
If it sells better than the 360 version, that would be an excellent message from pc gamers.
I didn't notice any problems on the pc version...perhaps I will go back and take note.
I totally agree. I mean really? Who does that any more?
The Vita doesn't use the same type of cpu or gpu, nor does it have sufficient processing bandwidth to run PS3 games. The vita is a powerful handheld, but it's still not capable of what the ps3 can do. Of course steaming them similar to onlive would be an option, but who wants to deal with the lag?
I like it. It really pushes the boundaries of what a game can be, and I like that.
Not the mention the graphics are beautiful.
Great game. If I had known it was coming to pc I would have waited to play it. May pick it up again anyway.
Thanks for the info.
Still interesting they added it. Perhaps experimentation for a future release?
I don't remember killer croc in Arkham City. Did I miss him?
Does the DX11 improve visual quality or simply add performance? Either well, it's a welcome addition. Really unexpected considering their poor support of the pc platform. Trying to win the fanbase back perhaps?
I'm waiting :)
It was sync'd on mine. That or maybe I just didn't get any tearing...
Tripple buffering may help you out.
With a 9/10, I don't think they'll mind.
I played the demo on the PC and consoles. While it looked ok, I really thought the textures were lacking. Similar situation to the last game I suppose. It was the same way.
Perhaps the final release will include sharper textures, but I doubt it. There was also very little in terms of graphical options, but there was AA in play, which is nice.
Aside from a higher resolution, frame rate, slightly better lighting, and aa, the pc version doesn't differ too much from the conso...
I ran call of duty modern warfare on there :p
It was terrible but fun to play around with.
