Anyone else want Omega Boost to come back?
It was made by the same guys right?
That game was boss!

I'm playing with the "Wireless Speed wheel" from Microsoft. It's actually pretty good!
I would love to have a G27 though...so envious.

I'm currently playing the "incomplete edition" and I'm really liking it.
The rally is great, just wish there was more.
I do appreciate the variety though.
If they could bump up the rally races, by about triple, and keep everything else intact I would be pretty happy.

The hardest game I ever played, Far Cry. The whole thing! (pc version, the console version is completely different).
I bet I died 200 times trying to beat that game!

I made it through second attempt...did I miss something?

Does the console include the tablet controller out of the box? Considering, 300 isn't too bad.
The console isn't really pushing any envelopes on processing power, so if the controller isn't boxed it would be too much.

What about the article is pointless?
It clearly states in the first paragraph that the rumor is Sony will not be using the Cell. I highly likely rumor if you ask anyone who knows hardware.
It also states that AMD will probably be making the chip/chips in the PS4, which is a great move for everyone.
I know a lot of people want Sony to use "the cell 2", but honestly, going with a standardized process would be the best move they can make. Cheaper, easier, faste...

Not necessarily. Although getting things to run on the cell was difficult, getting things that run on the cell to run on more typical processors is actually quite easy.
Even if it doesn't run native, emulation would be quite simple.

Did you even read the article?
There really is no benefit to using a complicated cpu like the cell. Especially not when other chips are faster, cheaper, and easier to code for.

You can't make this stuff up!
Pretty sweet actually.

A new Slave Zero could be pretty cool.

What? Cryengine 3 runs way way better than the first 2 editions.
Benchmarks everywhere prove it.

This is actually really great. Consumers deserve a reliable place to go get support for their games. The companies producing the games are usually clueless.

It's funny how now everyone is all "oh yeah, we support pc now!".
Strange it took them this long to realize if you make a good pc game, people buy it.

5108d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

If this comes to pc as well, it's mine!

5109d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

It sounds like you might have some issues. I've never seen any of these problems you have mentioned.
Colors always seemed fine to me...but then again my tv is pretty vivid.

5109d ago 3 agree1 disagreeView comment

You guys have never coded a day in your life right?
Using an AMD processor and video chipset means no more coding for a complicated processor. Easy ports of pc games isn't for Sony, it's for the developers. 3rd party games would be able to excel with their hardware and produce better games.
Just because current cpu/gpu combos are designed to be entry level, or low power consumption, doesn't mean they all have to be. Do keep in mind that the latest xbox revision no...

I think we'll see 1080p, but probably at 30fps for the most part.
1080p at 60fps still takes a bit of a beasty video card. Probably a bit too expensive for console use. I mean, current consoles are struggling to push 720p/30 most of the time.

Going with AMD is a fantastic move.
Not only will using an AMD make coding easier, it would allow them to save a lot of money.
If they're smart, they'll probably go with an intergrated cpu/gpu combo. This would allow for super easy coding, compatibility, and price cuts.
