Nope. In my eyes, the increase the value. Games I wouldn't normally buy, I'll pick up if the price is right.
Yeah me too.

Mentions Prophet teaming up with Psycho.
Well, the ending (BIG SPOILERS) did have him talking to prophet, and it sounded a bit like he faked his death to separate himself from the suit. So yeah, probably what was happening.
...
One image (the one with him holding the bow) says this is Prophet...
Is that true?
But he's (spoilers edit) right?
Minion from Twisted Metal 2.
Hands down.
I have the 7870 and it runs like a beast. Just about every game, maxed at 1080p at a solid 60fps.
Christians like video games too :)
Orcs Must Die!!!!!
My 47 inch display begs to differ...
Just so you know, Steam also collects information about/from your computer. Nothing new here.
Steam has dropped games from their servers in the past. This is nothing new either.
Origin works just fine for me. Not sure why you are saying it's crap.
EA makes great games, and if using Origin get me access to those games, I'm ok with that.
At least they don't charge monthly fees to play on line like GFWL.
I'm not saying Origin is perfect,...
I'm excited for the game, on Origin or not. People resisted Steam when it was new, and this is the same way. While I would prefer to have all of my games on Steam, I won't fight a little good competition (Origin vs Steam). They are both fine in their own rights, and they both do the same thing. Why hate one or the other?
I'm not even sure how someone would notice such a minute difference to begin with...
Where do you buy your games? It's near impossible to find a good selection around here...
I've been waiting for a game like this for a long long time. It's looking amazing! I can't wait. I'll wait for the final build though.
A PC gamer who doesn't have Steam? Where have you been?
Exactly. Not everyone has broad band.
Either it's not available in their area, or it's just simply not in the budget.
I would think MS and Sony realize that...surely they know better.
The difference between an engine and a processor, is you can't drop a turbo, or supercharger into a processor.
Processors are primarily restricted by thermal limitations. Sure you can dump a large heatsink in and overclock it, but then you're talking more cost and a serious heat problem in a tiny box. Heat is the biggest problem of the next gen. IT's bad now, and it's going to be worse next gen.
The only benefit to a console is software optimization. I've...
This may be true, and I intend on giving it a try, but it's not a real Ridge Racer.
Just a little FYI, I'm a computer technician ( I build and repair computers). I know the alienware quality very well.
They're decent computers, but no where near worth their cost. They tend to use cheaper components, not the best stuff.
A custom build can be built from Sapphire, ASUS and HIS components(the good stuff).
With Alienware, you get a mixed bag meant to cut cost and save Dell money.
Alienware lost any cred it had when Dell bought them out...
Now they are just overpriced, and underpowered.
But I guess if you want a fancy chasis with a neat logo, this is your rig...
I'll build my own like a big boy.
1080p/60 is a bit tougher to achieve than you might expect. It takes about 10x the power to double the frame rate, resolution, and increase graphical detail all at once. 1080p/30, maybe. I don't see 1080p/60.
My AMD 7870 (350 bucks) has trouble running some of the best games at that speed and resolution.
Why would a company ever jam two video cards into a console?
Higher cost, more heat, more room, extra components, more fail points, more fans, higher power consumption, harder to optimize, etc etc.
Sony knows better, it will have a single card.
