Can't really blame DICE for taking advantage of the situation. But they bloody did ignore us for the past 3 years or so. And as a Battlefield fan, it was painful to see Bad Company not coming on the PC.
It's kinda nice to hear their "endearing" words, but honestly, I wouldn't rely too much on their comments alone. I want them to show they really care about us with their products and not their words.

I was actually surprised. I thought it would be all about PS3 vs 360. Only idiots don't know that PC version is always the best. That is why most comparisons are only about PS3 vs 360. They don't need to compare the PC version with anything because it's always 3-steps ahead of any other platform.
I thought IGN did something similar last year with Zelda. Didn't they later announce that it was just a fake one? Maybe this is like that. OR It can be a real promo-vid from Ubi themselves......who knows?
I was wondering where this game disappeared to...I still remember a lot of people were hyped when the first one came out, but then it started to fall under the radar within a few months.

FPS games are still way better on the PC. The only reason consoles get them is because of the money involved. Otherwise you'd still be stuck with your third-person-*whatever* games. You can say what you want, I won't argue further. But until you can aim as quickly and accurately as pro PC fps players using your controllers without any in-game aid(like aim-help), then your arguments don't mean squat to us.

STALKER games are always buggy. I enjoyed "Shadow of Chernobyl" because it was fresh and innovative. Clear Sky, not so much because it was basically the first game with a different story.
I hope this one has something new and interesting other than DX11 to surprise us all. If not, meh, I'll pass this time.
....the X360 is indeed starting to look old and weary. And that isn't good news for then PS3 when multiplat games are in question. I'm not trying to take any side here. I just think the PS3 shines brighter when it gets it's exclusive games, like UC2, MGS4, etc.
Microsoft needs to hurry up with a new console because not only is the 360 holding back the PS3, it's also holding back the PC. PC exclusives are rare, especially AAA ones. So we mostly get multiplats that are watered down...
Ummm....is it really necessary to compare FZ3 to an old game like FZ1? Of course, maybe they wanted to make FZ3 look amazing compared to a last-gen game since it didn't look much different from FZ2.

It seems like every new headline that this game generates is making it look more and more like a typical franchise-milker.
I mean, when MW2 was first announced, i was extremely excited. Then, came the UK price hike, then the PC version delay. And then the PC price hike followed by the no-dedicated-server news.
And now this? What the hell is this? Gun-fights in a space station? How original. NOT. Please tell me they're not trying to go the Spielberg way, i swear that ...
The one thing that people mostly have to say against PC gaming is that it's costly. It actually is not. Upgrading your gfx card every month is just a myth. I haven't upgraded my rig in 2 years and it's still playing new games just fine. And with the arrival of future games that have DX11 support, it's gonna be on a whole new level. Sure, the initial cost may be a bit steep, but it's worth it.
And like ps3ftwin said, multiplats are cheaper and better looking on the PC. And PC excl...
If they think every girl gamer is gonna buy this embarrassing junk, they can think again.
