Best game ever made in my opinion.
The wii won the console collecting the most dust award.
Ok Nintendo tapped into this whole fitness, family fun thing, but that market is so volatile and offers no allegence to Nintendo whatsoever, it's just as likely they won't want to buy into the wii fad again and the middle aged ladies will just join a proper gym and the family will find something else to do on a Saturday night.

Trouble is people are too picky these days and walk around with rose tinted glasses on.
I have had to restart a couple of quests again due to conversation bugs not activating the quest in over 150 hours of gameplay, and that is all I have seen wrong with this game.

Of course the 360 will last until the 720 comes out. People aren't going to rush out and buy the only replacement possible (the ps3) when there is hardly any difference between that and what they already had.
People will play 360 until the first of the new consoles arrives, and the poor people a bit longer just like every generation before this one.

The guy who wrote the article has a bit of a chip on his shoulder and needs to calm down. Yes the app store could be organized better but it's still great.
One thing that really bugs me though that he didn't mention was people giving a game 1 star because the game crashed on their device. This happens a lot and usually the problem gets patched quickly but then the game which might have been wonderful gets over looked if it averages below 4 stars.

I reckon this will have the two other cities as per San Andreas. It would be a huge thing to leave out Vegas on this generation of consoles when it's likely they won't return to this location again certainly not this gen and probably not next gen either.
Usually with rockstar you get more than you bargained for so I doubt they will omitt these areas.
Game of the year? You have to be kidding. It's not even a question of personnal taste. The game was very poor.
Once the facial animation novelty wears off you realize the interrogations don't make sense, innocent suspects have some weird connections to the murders and tend to make a run for it (even though they are innocent?.... What the)
The side missions would be activated in a location which was pretty much always right the other side of the map ...

Maybe things can go full circle and the kids who were playing CoD a few years ago have now grown up enough to appreciate the subtler and more realistic ghost recon series.
For me I would take spending 5 minutes plotting tactics on how to eliminate a couple of dug in bad guys over the shooting gallery of CoD any day of the week.

It's clear you are a demented souls fan which is fine but also after 80 odd hours of playing this game I have seen two things I would consider a bug that bothered me for like two seconds before I moved on to my next quest. Hardly the end of the world. NPC repetitive dialogue, I have never seen an open world game that hasn't got this flaw. All the GTA games were as bad.

A nobody from the UK says that terminator 2, predator and pulp fiction were definitely the cause of a shooting in Virginia. He says the assailant was known to have watched these movies in the past 5 years which then caused him to believe that shooting people was socially acceptable.
Who cares. We are nearly at the end of this gen anyway and it will be remembered as the Xbox generation regardless of how many consoles sony sells now.

Not read the review or played the game but if he considers LA noire to have been an over hyped piece of crap then I'm right behind him. It takes more than facial tech to make a good game and sadly LA noire was deeply flawed.
They will just cram all the world onto one disk and everything else onto the others. So you might have to get up off your backside and swap disks once for every 15 hours of gameplay or whatever. Big deal!!!
I'm more concerned over the possible lack of facial technology and the possible lack of las Vegas which I seriously doubt they would leave out of a game as huge in scope as this. If the map is two and a half times the size of RDR I would be astonished if there wasn...
also i bet we are only seeing a small part of the game here. i wouldnt be at all surprised if las vegas is fully featured as well. that would be the icing on the cake.
When you play a valve title you can feel the love and care that has gone into making it. La noire felt cold to me even before the news broke about the harsh treatment of staff at team bondi. It felt disjointed during the play through and I wasn't too bothered when the credits rolled and I traded it in.
