I totally love this game but I have to agree with some of these nitpicks even if they are like 1% of the whole experience where you say to yourself I might have done that differently. The skinning animals is a good one as is the constant use of the same lines from the pirates.
But all in all this is like slagging off the cistine chapel because there's a spiders web on it someone forgot to dust.
simply put, when you compare those launch titles mentioned to the games we are playing now like far cry 3 that justifies the next gen 100%. Can you imagine far cry 3 running on ps2? No neither can I, so this to me is a very narrow minded article that doesn't make much sense.
Great game. I would recommend going all out for the sniper rifle at the beginning. The wildlife is fast when spooked and its hard to get in close enough with assault rifles and pistols. Without the animal skins early to upgrade your backpack size and gun holsters its impractible to go hunting human as only having one gun unlocked doesn't hold enough ammo to stack the odds in your favour.
Not got a problem with day 1 patches. It's day 50 patches that annoy the **** out of me.
I was going along with this article until the author of this very article, a piece about journalists getting reviews wrong states that ubisoft sometimes get things so right like ghost recon but occasionally get things so wrong like assassins creed brotherhood??? What, brotherhood is by far the best assassins creed of the series by a mile.
I was trying to work out what the missing ingredient was in assassins creed 3 and I realised it was actually been an assassin. In AC3 you weren't allowed to prey on your victim plan your attack and hop across rooftops into position. The game wanted you to chase and free run everywhere and it lost that element of planning early titles like brotherhood had.

God it's £30 a year, it's hardly breaking the bank and microsofts service is better than the rest and that's that. I'm going to enjoy this game but some of my fondest memories of past tomb raiders is diving underwater and swimming to a new location. The underwater swim gives Lara a sense of isolation and adventure, so i think this is a massive opportunity missed by CD especially with the game being set on an island.
They could have had some amazing underwater caverns, waterfalls to go adventuring in, I don't understand this design decision one little bit.

I think the demo put a lot of people off as it was terrible and like the article says too many good games out like assassins creed 3 borderlands 2 dishonored etc.
So Nintendo have released a NEW console that can't play games that a seven year old console can, and of which everyone is ready to abandon as they ready the release of another more powerful machine.

I really enjoyed the ending to the mass effect trilogy(the amended one, never saw the original). There was so much to consider by the end how each of the three choices affect everything in the universe and how right and wrong good and bad could be flipped when viewed from the perspective of each race. Very clever stuff, it probably went over the heads of most folk which is why it got bad comments but it was very moving I thought.
Errrr I don't thing there are three cities in GTA5 just the one. Not sure who wrote this article but they clearly just made it all up based on what happened in San Andreas.

The walking bit is the essence of the game you clown. Getting from A-B avoiding patrolling pirates and tigers just to finally stand atop that large hillside and look down upon a pirate outpost is what the game is all about. The reward then is liberating the outpost and gaining an extra fast travel
