They can patch some things but the game was fundamentally crap. They can't patch the lack of tension or the fact this should have been a squad based shooter.
I suggest sega start afresh with a developer who gives a shit about the aliens universe and fox should wipe this travesty from the official aliens canon and everyone should cut their loses with this game

Bioware could make a decent aliens game. Whoever does it wants to focus on squad tactics and group survival like gearbox were going to do before they decided they didn't love aliens anywhere near as much as they said they did.
The problem with your logic is once a console is out its easy to release a new controller for it, but you can't suddenly start making games that are maxing out ps4 and nextbox work on the wii u.

Putting the twitter comments aside for one minute, if I were CEO of a big company like gearbox there's no way I would let a game be released in that state. They bit off more than they could chew making two borderlands games instead of making just one BL and a f*****g awesome aiens game. I don't get this, If a game is installing in the background it is currently reading from the disk. If you are playing a game at the same time then you are also currently reading from the disk so as it hasn't installed yet to be able to read from the HDD. As far as I'm aware a disk can't be read twice at the same time. I smell a rat on this one.
I wouldn't worry about the pay per view thing too much. There will be people suing Microsoft left right and centre for charging them for additional users who may have been sat in the same room but not participating in watching the movie. Kinect 2 wont be able to see where your eyes are looking so it can't possibly know if you are watching a movie with someone or not. This technology can't possibly work without causing massive uproar from disgruntled customers.

If everybody just stopped buying dlc they would stop making it. Simple. Same as if nobody buys a xbox720 because they can't resell their used games then Microsoft will stop selling consoles that screw over the public.
Trouble is there is always too many people who don't mind been totally shat on by big corporate companies who put their shareholders before their customers.
If the Xbox has this ill just buy a ps4 or vice versa, and if they both have it ill just stick to titles I know I won't waste my £40 on, games like fifa, etc. Any game that is not a long campaign will be off my shopping list, so no more dead space or games that can be completed in a day or two, ill probably play far less on my console and find other things to do.

Completely agree. There's games I wouldn't normally touch but bought at a cheap second hand price and now if there's a sequel I'm there first in the queue to buy them. Deus ex I picked up cheap and loved it, so will buy any future instalments full price. The list goes on and on.
