By the time it's printed we know what the news is anyway via the net unless its got excusivity rights like GI with GTA 5 but that will be all over the net within 5 minutes of the magazine going to print anyway.
Way of the world, get over it, move on, the journos will get jobs at ign no doubt.
Yeah unfortunately we live in a "demand it now" culture these days. In years gone by before forums and the Internet a game was out before you knew it existed sometimes. Knowing more makes the wait harder and it takes an adult who has been to work to realise that there are more things to consider than simply just making the game and selling it when making something of this size with the amount of people and resources involved. Be patient little ones and thee shall be rewarded!!
I used to hate mass effect for a it's hiding behind a conveniently placed wall when an enemy would show up combat but then I grew up and played all three and realised it was a feckin masterpiece.
Love this game, can't wait for the iPhone version to drop.
Don't be obsured. Also if you think millions of others think the same way as you you are clearly deluded too.
I don't think "hardcore gamers" are disappointed at the wiiU controller but rather the console itself which will struggle to attract third party publishers once they all move into developing for the Xbox 720 and ps4. Who's going to care about how good a controller is if there are no games to play on it?
Can't believe nobody has made a decent space combat game for consoles this generation or tried to incorporate it into a mass effect style shooter but make it a new IP. The opening to the revenge of the sith but playable with mass effect shooting levels. Maybe this is the Star Wars game they should have made instead of that unleashed crap.
I gave up on far cry 2 when I had a 10 minute walk to my mission and then came across a tricky bit where I died. I then respawned back where it had last saved hence another 10 minute walk. After repeating this process three times I switched it off and never played it again. This was a shame because at times far cry 2 blew the pants off other shooters, but it was just too unuser friendly for my tastes.
Might give 3 a go if it is fixed. I strongly believe in open world games l...
The problem with the playstation brand is its too eastern orientated. This was fine 10-15 years ago when the best games were being made in Japan but to be fair the west has taken over the games market when you look at the really big franchises and that means Xbox will grow stronger as a brand. It's easier to program for and has been the lead format for developers all of this generation.
Now I know many people will scoff at what I just wrote but I think deep down we all kn...
I can't even be bothered to play the demo never mind buy the game. Im afraid they killed this franchise with resident evil 4 for me. Yes no4. Even though it was an enjoyable game you could see they were heading down a rocky road, and the fans admiration for resi4 only served to make things worse.
I think I subconsciously decided about half way through resi 5 that I was done with this series for good unless it goes completely back to its roots, and dumps the over the shou...
Oh get a sense of humour for gods sake. Girls have plenty of opportunities to poke fun at us fellas. Most blokes are generalised by woman anyway, we're all lazy, we're all this and that whilst they all gawp at Jason stathom or tuck into their 50 shades of grey books or bang on about girl power.
It's horses for courses mate chill out life's too short and borderlands is too much fun to get hung up over it.
Try campaigning to get woman rights i...
If the galaxy S3 were a woman it would be Pamela Anderson with its plasticky looks and huge oversized (t*ts) err screen whereas the iPhone 5 would probably be Keira knightly with its natural and understated appearance.
Hope it's as good as vice city. Still the best GTA in my view. Ok San Andreas had more to do but vice city tapped into those classic gangsta films like scarface and carlitos way and delivered a soundtrack that is unsurpassed in gaming to this day. The story and atmosphere of vice city lifts it above anything other GTA games. San Andreas was fun don't get me wrong and I can understand anyone in their twenties or younger preferring SA but if you were raised in the 80s then vice city bec...
Maybe it was seeIng war on the news every night that made that person flip. Maybe it was a violent movie or rap music? Maybe it was the ease of getting hold of a gun in America?
Who knows, games are an easy target because people who don't play games think it is a child's hobby still and they see the violence in clips of games like call of duty etc.
Only the uneducated still spout out nonesense like he had a copy of GTA IV at home so it was the game t...
This generation is at a point where not many consoles will be sold now, so who cares if Sony has more games coming out. If you own an Xbox you're hardly likely to go out and spend £220 on a ps3 when there will be new machines coming out in 18 months time as there's more than enough third party titles coming out to get excited about. To me microsoft has already jumped ship to next gen where new IPs are concerned anyway.
It will be next gen I reckon so from their point of view there's no rush to announce anything. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if it isn't tied into the announcement of the Xbox 720 as a day one exclusive to the new console and pc or something like that, and a later release on ps3. It would be a huge console seller Microsoft would pay millions for the privilege
Looks good but with no cockpit cam and an emphasis on street racing it would appear we have taken a further step away from a return of the vastly superior TOCA series. It's criminal nobody has taken advantage of the touring cars licence during this generation. Street racing is ok but it's getting a bit long in the tooth now, someone needs to have the balls to make a focused game on one discipline and not try and be all things to all people.
How was the ending contrary to the rest of the game? We're you sleeping through the part where you discovered the asari were the bad guys against the geth and you had to make a moral decision to aid the war effort or stick by your best friend liari who was asari? Or seeing EDI become more human throughout the game showing that synthesis could work but being reminded by how this new found power can corrupt as was the way with the illusive man. These imbequities were littered all through th...
Loved the ending, the most thought provoking ending to a game I've ever witnessed based on the moral conflicts that had developed through the game to then come down to a single choice, I just couldn't decide and it was in that moment that I realised the game was a work of genius. Kudos to bioware for not giving us the usual crappy American ending of everyone lives happily ever after. This was a game where there was no black and white, good versus evil like gears of war, this was askin...
Three protagonists. Possible online co-op??
