Sounds to me like the Xbox one was designed by the first week apprentice candidates.
This is lovely but why the need to check in once every 24 hours if you just want to play a single player game then?
I don't know what smartphone he has but I can assure you I can play games on my iphone if I'm not connected to the Internet.
I think the PS3 was ugly. It looked like a bread bin and its curved top made it awkward for stacking under the tv. I think when you get the PS4 under the tv the slopped front will look quite sexy.
It's definitely nicer to look at than the VCR looking X1 anyway.
Now if only randy had listened to the fans of aliens and taken that feedback back to gearbox' round table the world would be an even more beautiful place.

I think you've hit the nail on the head there. "Then the kinect came out" I think the kinect did kill the Xbox brand, or more specifically the wii did.
I always knew that the wii was a flash in the pan market that's not there anymore and yet Microsoft are still persuing it. Sony obviously had more sense.
The mightiest company needs people to buy their products, and Microsoft have just lost all their customers to Sony before their product even hits the shelves.
The ONLY way back for them is to admit they mucked up and lower the price and remove all the restrictions.
Microsoft will succeed short term but fail long term with the xbox1 once the uninformed people start to realise most of their friends have a playstation 4 and ain't getting their pants pulled down and shafted like they are with Microsoft.
I think the "one" in "Xbox one" stands for how many units they are going to shift.

If Microsoft wanted a bit of the wii crowd they should have realised where they had migrated to and put less emphasis on hand waving and struck a deal to get an app service for android games built into their machine.
They would have cleaned up next gen with a machine that can play cutting edge AAA games and angry birds at 69p.

What a load of rubbish. It's ok making money off people through the console cycle but you have to physically sell them a machine first. If 75% of all console gamers buy a ps4 and they are only making money on the games they will be far better off than Microsoft
I think I will be buying a ps4 next. I'm not interested in the gimmicks of the Xbox one, I want a games console and that leap in power will be become very evident in the second half of the next gen. Microsoft have become a jack of all trades and master of none, at least Sony know what a games console should be, so it's time to jump ship. I just wish I could take that Xbox controller with me because that looks the business.
The witcher 2 was promising but some parts of it let it down especially on console. I thought the menus were a bit cumbersome and could have been streamlined to make them easier to understand but then again its not a real rpg unless you are lost in a sea of menus is it? and the combat controls needed a major revamp using the control pad. It felt very much like a PC to console port yet the game had some great points to it that other RPGs can learn from.
If they iron out a few...
Mass effect series followed by half life 2 and portal 2. All these titles are just dripping with quality
