Amazing game, been playing it for 8 hours straight, stunning.
They certainly haven't spent the day playing The Last Of Us as I have :-)
Over 10 million views of that little video - it's done more to get the message out to the people than any amount of posting here or any forum could ever do.
@edonuts Seems like Microsoft found the ideal target audience in you! Add that to the other 4 or 5 believers and you'll only have to buy maybe 200 million games each this generation for them to chalk up a flawless victory. 1UP, sir!
Great stuff. Except the hairy belly, that bit I could have done without.
Sorry, but the system requires installs. They're not suddenly going to let you install and lend your copy for your friend to install and his friend and so on... get real. s8anicslayer is right, it's too late now, the system is designed this way and it cannot be gotten around via some magic software "fix".
Your buddy seems like a bit of a drama queen.
3rd parties are free to impose whatever bs DRM measures they can concoct on ps4... it's up to the consumers to speak with their wallets and let them know it's not welcome (not possible on xbone).
While there might be a sizeable power gap between the two platforms, they're essentially very similar - publishers aren't going to miss out on a massive market for very little extra effort over a lack of o...
Yes, and he doesn't even know what he's supposed to be shouting about. PSN accounts have always been free. It's ps+ that people will need for the full experience, but who doesn't already have a plus subscription? Since this time last year it's been a no-brainer.
They did refer to it as "ps+ edition" so maybe it'll be slightly gimped somehow? We'll have to wait and see, here's hoping it's the full experience, it looks stunning, much more my cup of tea than a Gran Turismo or Forza.
Well, sorry Mainman, but you're not the kind of person Sony is looking to sell a next gen console to. They need people who buy their loss-making unit and use the snot out of it and consume enough to break even then profit... someone playing one or two games a year one or twice a month isn't on their target audience radar.
You want the lowest unit price and no DRM and this and that... but doing what live gold made ms plenty of cash is really so bad? Sony might not be an evil mega corp with crazy ideas like ms, but they're not a charity either - they have to make money somewhere and supporting a machine that will use so much comms isn't really feasible given all the other advantages of the system (to Sony's cost). If you can't pay $5 a month for all those benefits, maybe current gen and used game...
Unlike millions of users willing to pay a license to play their games...
Enchantment?
Just don't ask it to change channel.
@iGAM3R-VII $499 in the USA, but Euro499 and £430GBP is more like $670 here in Europe. As usual, it's us that are ripped off on hardware.
it's a great combo move - Doritos, Mountain Dew and xbone - all your salt, sugar and television needs catered for :-)
@ hulk Well that would be fairly boring, I want a bloodbath and controversy and tons of jaw-dropping games ;)
There's plenty of reasons for this spun report, here's the two main ones...
i. Xbone has been on pre-order at amazon.co.uk for a lot longer than the ps4.
ii. Amazon is not an official partner listed on Sony's site and people want to guarantee their console on day one. ShopTo, Game, Tesco, Sainsbury's and ASDA(walmart)) are all linked to from Sony's site. ShopTo.net is the first place real gamers go for their fix in the UK, simple as - you ...
Clicked 720P... still looked like 480P... unimpressed.
