It's one thing reducing price to create demand - it's entirely another being able to meet any kind of meaningful demand while keeping a respectable level of quality and reliability. Some would suggest ms cannot manage this right now, I personally don't doubt that.
Have ms ever been known for supplying great games in bucketloads? They have definitely paid for timed exclusivity and even advertised multiplat titles aggressively with their branding in the past.
Sony "turned it around" with ps3 when the hardware became affordable, when the value of ps+ was seen, when their own exclusive titles just kept on coming and kept on pushing the hardware and gaming experiences. And they did this from a long way back (1 year and (often much...
Actually look at "movers and shakers" if you want a real look at what's currently jumping in demand - xbox one is not even in the top 20.
Microsoft employee or someone working for Microsoft damage limitation? Reads a bit too rosy glasses to me, more like some emo xbot had too much time on his hands or some paid PR damage repair guy at work.
ms' timed exclusives... After the initial wave of console purchases are out of the way, just imagine the compare videos when the ps4 versions look so much better, it'll be another shot in the arm for sure. The ps4 dev suite is already more mature, easier to work with and the hardware is clearly more powerful - so add in another 6 to 12 months of familiarity and there's every reason the ps4 versions of games will outshine the xbox one versions massively.

You could pre-order in the UK much earlier than that.
The EB Games site has the ps4 listed as something other than pre-release, it's actually top of their current sales (link in other post below).
EB Games Canada - take off the "pre-release" modifier and the ps4 is actually top, xbox one 3rd after The Last of Us. For some reason ps4 is not classified as a pre-release on their system it seems.

There's a wonderful technique for removing jaggies around the characters vs the backdrop. It's not simply anti-aliasing, it has an eerie little light/shimmer to it, no idea how they did it but it's super effective, especially around Joel's hair. A little thing to some maybe, but it's these things that stand out for me.
There's still the occasional pop-up and rare flicker of objects (sometimes when looking through doorways), but it's incredibly beau...
Is there an xbone SKU with a blanket pack-in?
Yes but when it comes to consoles and fanbois, there's usually something competitive about it, rather than outright humiliation.
The pulling of this poll will only lead to more comment on it and the chance the big sites will draw even more attention to it rather than letting it run its course, as there's something quite a bit more juicy about the reasons why than merely confirming what we already know (ie ps4 is by far the machine of choice for early adopters).

Taking photos while in the toilet... as good an idea as advertising in there.
They'll be more than 5 million apart after 6 months on sale.
It's the audio - always listening - that most people have an issue with.
Your camera solution's effectiveness remains to be seen - do you know that the xbox one can still function fully and correctly under those circumstances? I don't see enough evidence to say either way.
