What video is the writer talking about, was there a video I missed from Sony Gamer Day or something? It looks like HBO and Cartoon Network are listed twice on that list, wouldn't Sony have their section for Columbia-Tristar television shows.
I agree its not a big issue, I have only had 2 freezes in 40 hrs of gameplay w/ my 60 GB. And since that 1.01 patch arrived I have had zero issues with online play

The original GTA had all three cities unlocked in the same order as they were released on the PS2. The first city is Liberty City in the original GTA followed by Vice City and then San Andreas. The decade's are different in the last gen GTA3 iterations (late 90's early 200's for GTA 3, 80s for Vice City and early 90's for San Andreas) In the original all the cities were based in the 90's. I cant wait for the new ones.

I was hoping to play as a rebel, but its only a mantel chapter. I agree with you, I was impressed last fall but the demo was pretty good, not great. Free Radical has a fine pedigree of FPS games so I bet the final game will be better than the demo.
I said this days ago when the game came out. Sure it sold more copies on 360 but when you divide that number by the amount of consoles in the market place the PS3 wins.
How did people have high hopes, it's a movie game (even though a theatrical release did not coinside with the game). Many people had high hopes for Ironman the game, but that one is terrible in comparison to Borne. Its no GTA but is is way better than Kane and Lynch and way better than many next gen games. I agree the demo was much better than I expected, there were a few parts that were meh but the gameplay is similar to dynamite cop/die hard arcade mixed with GTA's cover and 3rd person gun play. I didn't even know that a cover system existed in this game. Its very similar to GTA 4 in my opinion (obviously not all characteristics) the gun play, graphics and cover system. Driving is not that great (I thought it was the worse part) and there is no blind fire when in cover. But this game surprise...
I agree, upscaled looks like crap in comparison to true HD. Even on TV you can tell, TNT is notorious for upscaling.
This article doesn't account for PS3 sales which if you follow the industry is most blu-ray player sales. Home media magazine (a trade publication) and the NPD group state otherwise (for disc and overall player sales), they say that sales are up, heck only a handfull of big titles have been released lately too (mainly the academy award films).
This is only for standalone player sales, not including the PS3 which is a major majority of Blu-ray players in the market. It doesn't account for disc sales which have soared since the demise of HD-DVD. In the week ending of 4/20/08 Blu-ray disc sales were 91% over HD-DVD according to the NPD. PS3 sales have been high but the standalone's haven't due to the fact that the PS3 is a significantly better deal than a standalone player that doesn't even have wi-fi or a HDD. Stupid for EA and Harmonix not to release this on Xbox 360 and PS3, not everyone has Live or the PSN to download songs, this would be good for those people. And why only 20 songs, there are over 60 DLC songs available.

Why Microsoft thinks the live video marketplace is the end all to digital downloading is anyones guess. I tunes now has just about every major movie studio partnered with them on the Itunes store, that will dominate the digital downloading market, with Sony's PS3 video store likely to be second.
