I haven't used Steam in months, actually since I beat the Orange Box back last Fall, hence why I didn't remeber if TakeTwo games were there on steam, actually I remember BioShock being on Steam I forgot about that.

Personally I have been a keyboard and mouse champion my whole life, up until I got my Alienware laptop. It's a lot more convenient playing with a game pad while laying down on the couch (with a laptop), keyboard and mouse is not practical on the couch, at a desk thats...

Too bad the best PC gamepad out is the 360 controller. No others come close (most don't even have rumble). I only use a gamepad if I'm in the living room laying down on the couch playing my laptop, otherwise I'm a keyboard and mouse guy.

Thats exactly what I said earlier, it was in the press release where he said he liked the PS3 version of GTA 4 better. Told ya TheIneffableBob, I'm not the only one saying this.

I could see Rockstar striking a deal with Valve for steam digital distribution. To my knowledge Rockstar and TakeTwo have no games on steam at the moment.
Still, I cant imagine the system requirements, have you seen Assassin's creed's requirements, it's cheaper to buy a 360 or PS3 at that point then buy a gaming PC. I have a hard enough time running Crisis on my Alienware Laptop with SLI enabled.

@AcidZ
You like the PC controls better, seriously? Any other game I co...

Dude it was the co-founder of Rockstar, he spoke about it in that press release where he said he preferred the PS3 version of GTA4, it's on the N4G website.

What is Microsoft talking about, are they going to release full games on the Live marketplace, is that what he is referring to? How come MS can't put it on live, that file size cap is complete BS (Capcom got around it) and many files on the marketplace can be over 1GB (mainly demos and movies), so whats the problem Microsoft, Sony can do it with the PSN (i.e. Warhawk, GT5 Prologue, etc) why not you.

@Ali The Brit

The reason why Gabe Newell (president of valve) said he didn't like the PS3 was due to the fact that it was harder to program for relative to 360 and PC. Valve has been a PC focused gaming company since inception, thats why its so easy for them to program the 360 b/c it's essentially a PC based on DirectX9 hardware and software, i.e. it's like programing a PC from 2004 (which is when HL2 came out by the way). The PS3 uses C++ based programing which isn't that ridicu...

Ha! I beat Kotaku.com to the punch, they posted an article similar to mine. Too bad the Kotaku one is on the main N4G page and not mine :)

Is this only Europe and Japan, why not in the US?

SPHE has nothing to do with the gaming division of Sony. Sony own(ed) the rights to the movie not to the IP it-self, Ghostbusters.

Hate to rain on the party but I heard that Rockstar has a press statement saying that a PC is NOT coming out. I hope it does though, I could not imagine the system requirements though

Amen brother, I broke down and bought another RB guitar when they came out a few weeks ago (I got tired of waiting).

It;s too early in the product life cycle to introduce a new slim PS3 this early. Typically in the product life cycle of the Playstation, Sony typically releases a slim model 4-5 years after launch, with the exception of the Slim PSP. The Blu-ray diode needs to shrink along with the Cell and RSX in order to make a slim model. An external power supply would likely come included (like the PSone and slim PS2).

Rockstar said in the early Fall that the lack of a massive storage medium like Blu-ray on the 360 was hindering game development (obviously along with PS3 development at the time) and that the final game may be multiple discs on the 360.

I don't believe the 360 version of GTA4 is multiple discs, but the next iteration of GTA4, Vice City (all 3 cities have existed since the original PC game), will probably be multiple 360 discs, or one Blu-ray disc for the PS3. If anything pressi...
