Explain to me why the Vice President of Rockstar North said that GTA 4 was scaled back due to DVD 9 limitations, and they champion Blu-ray for gaming (and said that the next iteration of GTA, probably Vice City, will be utilizing the size of Blu). Also EA and Kojima (Konami) champion Blu-ray as the best next gen disc medium.

24fps is good for video (since thats the main graphics in Singstar) that is what "Hollywood movies" are shot in. I own Singstar on PS3 and know what you are talking about with 240p, 98% of the videos were shot in the pre-hd era so they are upscaled to HD in the game (in some videos you can see the interlace lines). I personally find the singing in rockband better...
The PS3 also has higher anti-aliasing relative to the 360 too, look at GTA 4 for example.

This was a quote about madden 08 not COD 4. Madden 09 and NCAA 09 both run at 60fps on both consoles.
Why are people talking about Halo online play that was introduced in Halo 2. Since when is a patch for a 2003 PC game relavent in 2008?

Does the 360 allow user mods or was that scrapped? I don't see why the 360 reviews should be just as good as the PS3 ones when the games is 8 months old and it doesn't support user mods. The graphics look a little more washed out on the PS3 ones in that comparison but it stops there. I own UT3 on PC and PS3 and have to say, there are better fps games out now.

I'm a die hard Sony guy (check out my profile and my comments if you think I'm lying) and I will admit I agree with the article. The only thing its missing, not getting nickel and dimed for every accessory/service they offer (don't think that part of MS's business model is changing any time soon). I have a 360 with all the accessories (including flight sticks) and hope that many of the accessories carry over also.
Reminds me of adam sessler rating crisis core on the PSP, he gave it 40 points below the average and his review was the lowest of all the publications. When a review is that low usually the review is highly biased against a game, I usually ignore reviews of this caliber. Typically the averages are quite accurate of a game's true abilites, I find it better to approach reviews this way. Since when, in overall software sales, thats all. Console sales were higher for the PS3 in the month of May (GTA4 came out 4/29) which means that the 360 did not come out on top. Regarding software sales in the first weak alone it sold less on PS3, but if you consider the install base more PS3 owners have a copy of GTA4 almost 2:1 according to NPD numbers relative to 360 GTA 4 owners.
