Sounds right, Insomniac has been unofficial partners with Naughty Dog for years. The Jakk game engine (for the PS2) was developed by Naughty Dog and licensed to Insomniac for the Ratchet and Clank series on the PS2. If I remember properly they also collaborated together on the PSone with Spyro and Crash Bandicoot. They still are working together somewhat today but both developers have proprietary game engines for the PS3, they mainly give each other guidance in PS3 development.
What about CoD5? Every year since the 360 came out a CoD has been released.
Idiotic, the video game industry has fluctuated up and down years, but sales are higher now than they have ever been in the industry. Last year was a big year for 360 and Wii, but meh for the PS3. If Sony can deliver blockbuster sales of their up and coming AAA titles this fall than I think this financial analysis's opinion a bunch of BS. Why do they ignore MGS4 one of the biggest video games to come out this year, along with Halo Wars/Gears2/GH4.

Echochrome, nice I see that it has a US release in May not just Europe. Sev1512 do you know if the demo for echochrome is the PS3 and PSP demos or is it just PS3 demo (the Japanese store has both). Have you tried remote play with Echochrome, I am curious if it's compatible. How did you get a copy of Echochrome, that doesn't look like the demo in your blog (I have the Japanese demo).

Paying for Live doesn't matter huh? That 12+1 membership that you (and I have, I bought it for $38) costs $50 thats $10 less than buying a copy of GTA4. Still gonna buy it, but I see where they are coming from. I played Gears the other day and it has become old, I will admit. The tech demo for Gears 2 / UE3 at GDC was interesting but the whole "crap load of npc's on screen at once" really isn't that spectacular anymore, Resistance did it when Gears originally came out in 06'. I have seen pictures of Gears 1 and 2 screen shots of multiplayer levels side by side, the Gears 2 shots are ridiculously more detailed than the original game....

Demo was meh, the only really good aspect of the game is that it ran at 60fps. Controls were terrible (why are flight controls not defaulted at invert Y axis, like real flight controls), Graphics are ok they are NOT open world, game play was terrible, and the aiming system is completely broken. I was looking forward to this game but not anymore.
