As long as games can be played off-line and used games are not locked out then I will bite when there are games I want. Still I will be waiting probably until the following summer, because I do not trust MS after the RROD fiasco (I was there at 360 launch day and had a few burn out). I want to see if gamers are having problems the first six months. I have a back log of games to last me a year.
I am interested in this survival mode called Eschelon it sounds interesting. Wonder how it will play in co-op.
I would like Alan Wake 2, but Gears is getting long in the tooth. We have had two Gears games in little over a year and a half. I think the franchise needs a couple years off. Plus many fans are bitter over the last one.
What MS really needs to do is show some NEW STUFF. Some new IP's. They haven't launched a new IP since Alan Wake, that is years ago. It is time to show what you got MS, if you got anything to show, that is.

Clearly sir, you have not played the abomination that is Aliens CM
Randy is a ******bag
You did not consider multiple gamers per household. I am sure millions of households may have one or more consoles and numerous users. Does this cancel the multple system overlap, doubtful, but it should be considered in the equation, that many homes have multiple users, even if they don't own said console, they are still a gamer.

Are you saying you didn't have a Neo Geo? Than I must be more hardcore then even you.
Breaks out old pair of neon colored Oakleys and puts them on. Looks down at my Swatch and decides its time to get on out of here.
MS is to blame for their nickel and diming ways, sure they are to blame for some situations, but this situation is Deep Silvers fault. Consumers should never have to pay for difficulty levels in any game. The most recent example is:
2k didn't charge for 1999 mode in Bioshock Infinite.
Deep Silver should be ashamed of themselves period.

You don't see a big deal? So now it's acceptable to pay for Difficulty settings. Dang it has to stop somewhere.
and I feel like an idiot now, but what I said was true just sooner than expected.
Seems to me they will put up Ranger Mode as DLC as they did for the first game. Making it exclusive forever for preorder owners is a sure fire way to tick off its fanbase.
Not only does Skyrim fit on one disc but it takes up less than half, its like 3.4 gigs.
Mine would have to be and in no order:
Bethesda - Oblivion, Fallout 3, and Skyrim
Naughty Dog - Uncharted series
EPIC - Gears of War series
Irrational Games - Bioshock 1 and Infinite
Bioware - Mass Effect series
Rocksteady - Batman series
Those have really definied this generation and I know it's just my opinion.
Lastly, I may not have support in this area but I have also enjoyed Crytek...
The weapons look promising and the gameplay provided me with some laughs against the flamethrower bosses.
Yeah generic is about the best word to describe it. I am sure it will be a satisfactory shooter, but nothing more.
A sequel would be awesome, if they could figure out a full retail release without it becoming stale I would go for that as well. Blood Dragon is such a good game. There are more than 100,000 on the leaderboards on 360 in just 5 days. That is very good. Considering this is also on the PS3 and PC and if those platforms are doing as well than Ubisoft must be very pleased so far. If you haven't tried it, do yourself a favor and try it.
amen
This maybe a great game, but it well sell poorly. I see no buzz or hype and nothing about the game is attention grabbing for me. I have many Insominac games but this one appears to be a pass.
I respect this developers opinion, but there is a place and market for all types of games, not just shoot em up bloody gore titles.
Although, I did not see it mentioned by the developer, the tone of the discussion, felt like he is disappointed that most of the successful games are violent.
I think no gameplay was shown or a demo played, proves the rumor that MS is 6 months behind on their exclusives maybe true. Seems to me they could have fired up a demo for 5 minutes if available.
