I am 42 and have been gaming since Pong and then when my cousin got an Atari 2600 in 1981 and we played, there has been no turning back it has been my favorite hobby. Now older, I have turned my 6 year old to gaming and we game together (Rayman, etc.).
I am not biased I have 100's of games and both the PS3 and 360 currently hooked up and I am an XBL Legacy member (10 years). IF you do not believe me, my name is my Gamertag on all systems.
So let me ...

You are the worst kind of fanboy, lets correct some of your stuff with the truth:
You said "Kinect works just as advertised in my house" - I have Kinect and my 6 year old plays Kinectamals and Kinect Adventures and it has lag, so it does not work as advertised.
You said "My xbox live is totally lag free" - a that is a big FN NO. They can't even keep their flagship franchises like Gears and HAlo from...
At this point I don't care about the games. Unless they make changes to the following.
The purchase of a kinect should be optional. I am not interested in Kinect. If that isn't possible then the Kinect should not always be on for the console to work. If that is not possible then it is not possible for MS to have any of my money.
I travel alot for work and live in hotel rooms three nights a week. Hotel wifi sucks arse. Connecting daily to val...
It's a game changer for me Not To Buy.
This guy used to be ok to listen to. Now he is just another corporate tool.
It will also have an effect on the way games are reviewed. Reviews will have to become far more picky and critical of titles knowing gamers will be stuck in this position of keeping the title. It will also eliminate the possibility of letting friends and family borrow a title, they may normally disregard, which could result in purchases down the road.
I beleive most gamers will buy less games, if their games have no real trading or secondary market value, as we now know it, then I see less sales and less money for publishers. Not only will they have screwed over their fans, but they will have screwed themselves as well, because gamers will now ignore all fringe games other than a few they have to have all the rest will die off.
See greedy companies see all that used game market and think they can add that to their curre...

It isn't 15 exclusives at launch. It was 15 exclusives within a year of launch. Which is a big difference. It means, to me, they will announce and show half of them this E3 and half at next E3.
So we are to assume now that crackdown 3 has been developed because some new and old game pics were shown on a dash board.
I see no point in this article at all, there is no news here.
I see no hint of a Crackdown 3. All I see is the game blade for Crackdown showing the orb and it was right next to the Halo 3 game blade. This means no more than an old account snapshot used for Microsofts crapping reveal and yes I mean crapping. They took a big, fat, meaty, steaming, crap all over their core fans.
MS is planning on sellin a billion consoles, hahahahahaha, that is like as many consoles sold in total of all the conoles ever released across all generations.
monopolies are against the law and that would constitute unfair business practices. We will see court cases and suites filed everywhere and the gov will eventually step in is my guess to clarify what is a publishers rights and what is a consumers rights of purchase.
Also, I see Samsung suing MS as the Xbox One is trying to do what Samsung Smart TV's already do. My guess is there are patents that will be disbuted on that stuff.
I think it is time to be challenge in court. The chips should be put on the table for publisher rights and consumer rights and find out what is fair.
If you can't take something you purchased and share with family and friends then you don't own that item. If that is the case then why would anyone pay $60 - 70 for something and it just be a RENTAL.
No other industry works this way and part of the world economy is the secondary markets and has bee...
I have seem so much arrogance all week from Microsoft to former CEO's acting like it's ok to bend over fans/customers you will like it. That seems the message, no middle ground, just strong arm tactics like MS has used in years past and others segments (Netscape I feel your pain. This time I hope it fails.
Why does it have to be addressed in the future? It is an issue now with your fans and you should Deal With It! What about your loyal supporters, what about the industry and your fans. MS always does this, they say we do not comment on rumors or we will have an annoucement at a later date. It is a problem NOW!!! Screw your E3 presser. Bus 101 you deal with situations immediately before it becomes out of hand.
My lord its like their whole management team there is ineffe...
Doesn't matter how much number crunching in the cloud, there are hard number latency issues no matter your internet speed. This isn't skynet.
Cloud based computations and graphics is PR talk. There are latency issues that limit the viablity of such activities.
oh yeah this thing throws 30 years of video game collecting out the fn window. I am not supporting it and I have been a Live member for 10 years. MS went to far for me. If others want it good for them. I for one will always believe the main idea behind the console was portablity and share games with friends or trading, other wise might as well get an fn gaming PC cause all this crap MS is pushing can be done on PC and Smart TV's. There is nothing new in this xbox but to limit used gam...
It is not mandatory and Sony said PS4 is not required to be online to play.
