Look at the PS3 fanboys try to downplay two of this gen's iconic games. Bioshock and Mass Effect were damn good reasons to get an Xbox 360 back in 2007! gears is a tactical 3rd person shooter. i think the best description for uncharted would be action/adventure/3rd person shooter. it has a cover system like gears and that's pretty much IT dude. they even borrowed the riot shield concept from gears 2. tactical it is NOT.

@ $300 PS3 would sell way easier, but it's just cutting too close to their bluray players. Think about it: once PS3 starts hitting $200-$300 people will be that much less interested in buying a dedicated player. And that goes for ALL brands, not just Sony's. So they know that this is the boon time for bluray and they need to be able to cash in on it, and they need to keep bluray players selling. Because a bluray player sold, PERIOD, benefits PS3 in the end. But not the other way around.
Microsoft markets a cost efficient machine to compete with PS3 and does it well, while Sony still has to keep PS3 @ $400. Microsoft runs a SUBSCRIBER BASED SERVICE to help fuel Xbox 360's support, while Sony's PlayStation Network doesn't turn over a single penny for PS3.
Sony NEEDS to sell PS3 as it is just to produce the equivalent cash flow of Microsoft's Xbox Live service.
