just get a samsung omnia or the htc touch pro, which is what i have.
it doesn't have as big a screen but it's still got more memory and a microSD slot.
also, it's not so bad to switch either. but if most of your family and or friends have verizon you might just stay with them anyway.
oh, and to activate any of verizon's smartphones you HAVE to have a data plan. it's mandatory now since too many people went berserk over their pay per megabyte plan bills. ...
forza motorsport 3 is moving in directions GT hasn't even imagined yet. they're just getting damage now...even gta3 back in 2001 had damage. jeez.
it's because of their contracts people. forza got a better deal and with it they put that feature in the past. they've moved onto user customizations and community oriented online gaming.
i've said it before: forza blows synthetic oil all over gran turismo's 2-cylinder gameplay. graphics are nice, GAME is nicer.
you guys leave out dmc 4 because it's on 360 too right. i though dmc4 was the best in the series, imo of course.
god of war was cool and so was ninja gaiden. although they're the same KIND of game they're not the same style.
except that turn10 makes great racers, while polyfony makes one great game, and 47 trailers. and then puts a trailer in the beginning for you to watch, called an intro. lol.

it's funny, but why doesn't IBM just build a motherboard for it or team up intel or amd and do it through them?

yeah, but i think they're going to work it very well. if it's any consolation the man already knows what he can do with ps3, so it's not like he's just figuring things out NOW. it'll be him and his team's first time working a metal gear with x360 specs, and that should be where the majority of development time and resources will go. he'll treat them both equally but each game will be up to what the console is capable of. which means it'll even out very well.

i dont think much should be changed. a lot of people complain about the fanboys but that could be better solved if people just calmed down and stop taking gaming so seriously.
even in isolating each gamer to their console only you'd still have the spam accounts that fake having a gamertag or psn ID, or don't even list one at all. i don't think it should be REQUIRED to use either ID, though, because then we'd lose a lot of our privacy and anonymity. it's better the way it is.

ps3 also launched at $600, which didn't do too well for early adopters.

yep! an all in one device sounds appealing until you're stuck with certain protuberances like drm or data plans.
and these phones aren't cheap people. just to own the iphone and have it on at&t service means these smartphones can cost you $1200 a year. it's not cheap, you might find some value, but it's HELLA expensive. not to mention that itunes store means you pay per song.
