voice massage sounds like a bj. yes, sony should be blowing all of us.
Just because they want to make money off their own product doesn't make them money grubbing. I mean they have a whole staff to pay wages for, so are those employees greedy too?
You guys forget that Microsoft is just the Corporate Entity, there are real people and programmers who have their obligations and responsibilities to their lifestyle and family. See if THEY don't mind working for free!
I like the concept of free and open source software but you can't eat on fr...
I don't like the Google Chrome browser, to me the best out there is a tie between Opera and Internet Explorer 8. Firefox is what I end up using the most though, since none of my friends have even heard of Opera and only use Firefox.
As far as an OS is concerned, I don't think they'll make it very far with a Chrome OS. It has to adhere to PC standards, which means that it has to be x86 or x64 compatible with Windows, Mac OS, and Linux just so that it can support already existing a...
$1000 on a PC gaming rig just to play 2007 Direct X 10 games and WE'RE the ones missing out? I love my PC gaming but it's just not where the games that I WANT are. And the games that make it over aren't the ONLY games that I want.
It's easier on the wallet to spend the money on the console and pay $60 for a game than to only pay $50 for a PC version yet still need to have a moderately well equipped PC which could cost around $1000. And be cramped with the 19" it ships with. ...
They have an Xbox 360 wireless controller for Windows, so I hope you PS3 fanboys are cool with that ;)
Yes, I know they have others (Logitech makes an awesome PS2 like controller).
Oh sure, you can say that it's out on PC as well. I get what you guys are saying. But not EVERY Xbox 360 game is on the PC, and those that are were hampered by both lack the luster showing of Direct X 10 and the failure that Games For Windows ended up being. So the PC won't necessarily be the best place to play those games.
There's 2 reasons that I feel support the fact that saying a game on Xbox 360 is BETTER on the console than on the PC.
1) Xbox 360 will CONTINUE ...
At 1mil per car there'd be 8mil just in cars PER FRAME. And the gameplay is CLEARLY 60FPS, so multiply 8x60, you get 480mil/second. But we haven't factored in the incredibly detailed environments, which would account for around 2 mil polys extra in a frame (120 mil more per second).
The Xenos GPU can handle 500mil polys/second (or 1.5bil vertices). So it's actually right on the money as far as performance is concerned.
For comparison's sake, PS3's RSX GPU can handle ...
Actually once you remove the shades, dim the lights, oh and actually view the footage you'll see that Forza MS 3 has the edge.
By the blade.
The car shine isn't an issue to me, really. I love that Turn 10 reminds Polyfony that a racing game should be fun flashy and full of flair. And they just also happened to mop the floor with GT5's slippery amateur banked turns. I mean GT is getting old and it LOOKS it, they can't even get handling right. Their formula is old, For...
They would want it because after a certain size even 16:9 widescreens become too tall.
Most movies get the 1.85:1 treatment, which puts the movie in what I like to call "katana mode", since the actual picture is so thin compared to the two friggin thick bars!
It's worse when viewing on a portable device, like the PSP. The only movie I had that would full screen on the PSP was House of Flying Daggers, all the rest were 1.85:1.
I think it's too wide, but I see why they want to push it. Big screens once they start getting taller you need to pan your eyes higher to get the full picture. They want to go wider to eliminate that since our eyes see more things to the left and right than up and down.
I think it'll come in handy when you have TVs that are "too tall" because they have to keep with 16:9's aspect ratio. So that basically means anything 40" and above, and when viewed from six feet aw...
Funny mods, deleted my comment just because I said that GT feels more like a driving game while Forza MS feels more competitive.
Delete this comment too mods, you need to earn your pay today :)
fact coming from a fanboy = fanboy opinion, not fact.
Opinion: _____'s cars don't have as many polygons as ______'s cars.
Opinion: _____'s physics are better than _____.
Fact: Forza MS 3 and GT5 both push insane detail and physics this gen.
Fact: If I only have a (PS3 or Xbox 360) I will only be buying one game or the other.
Fact: Telling me that _____ is better won't change the FACT that I will only be buying the game I want to...
It all comes down to a matter of preference really. If you want the undiluted pure pedigree of GT that's fine. If you want to step into 2009 and feel connected in this modern age of the Xbox Live online gaming community and car customization, you'll pick Forza MS 3. The graphics in Forza MS 3 surpass GT5p in a lot of areas, car models in particular are very well modeled in both games but I like Forza MS 3 better since you can make it your own car.
They both deliver the goods, the...
There's no reason to, besides newer specs. Sony doesn't have to release a new PSP, they just need to keep support going for their current PSP.
I love the PSP just as it is, PSPgo isn't for me. And if it's true, they better not change the body, it's the perfect layout for form and functionality. Beautiful screen too...they better not change that!
edit: listed under Rumors, but this guy is saying that it WILL have all these features? so FAIL it's not even funny.
I swear, if we have to defend FF VIII ONE MORE TIME I'll just explode! It was a great game, they outdid FF VII in graphics story and gameplay. The characters weren't as over the top as FF VII but there was just so much done in FF VIII that was ahead of its time. I would consider it Squaresoft's best rpg of that era if not for how much I know VII is still better...but not by much!
It's sad that they have to leave out so many, 4 just isn't enough as any real jrpg enthusiast would know. And they left out a few consoles as well. It's true that PS2 had the majority...I never owned a PS2 but I kept up with it. But there were also a lot of generalized rpgs, and several that were just cookie cutter copy and paste reiterations of material already done in better rpgs. I agree that Shadow Hearts was awesome, I remember watching some gameplay footage once.
Saturn had...
Yeah, for me it was money too. I had actually sold my ps for $110 to some girl and was going to save up for the ps2, this was june 2000. Then everything went to sh*t, I spent the money on an anime binge I was going through at the time (Toonami started airing Gundam Wing back then and I was all over it). And then I started letting go of my games too (I had sold my ps but not the games, I had around 20).
I'm making up for loss game time too. I started seeing ads for Xbox 360 in 200...
sir, that is just not possible. you're 8 years old, you weren't even born then :\
