Snake is more "commando" like Rambo while Fisher is an NSA specialist who's protected and supplied by the government. At least he used to be anyway.

The only people who insult Halo 3 are the ones who really haven't gotten into it. If you're asking what exactly it is that Halo 3 changed just play the damn game.

but here's a short list of my personal faves:

*Forge

-Remember TimeSplitters on PS2 and the whole level editing thing that PC FPSs are generally known for? Replicate that experience on a modern HD gaming console and voila...it's not majorly deep (maps are preset) but Forge is really fun to work...

I've actually upgrade installed it over my existing Vista install and the only issue I've come across is it not being compatible with Norton Internet Security 2007. Also I don't game much on PC anymore but I've run my PCSX2 emulator a few times and have noticed much better performance.

Wouldn't it be funny to open the box and find everything but the console?

...damn, no it wouldn't. Nevermind!

On topic, I love game bundles! Especially when the game's as hot as MGS4. Not so much if it's some sports stuff, but hey even that's a benefit. Just sell it at GameStop unopened. Point is either way it's a benefit.

SC Conviction is shaping up to be a heavy hitter...so yes you need this game. And honestly I really hope it comes out on PS3 as well, it's going to be one hard game to miss.

Unless of course you count that you're only $199 away from playing it if it doesn't come out on PS3 ;)

edit: yeah...that was fanboy diarrhea you just had there dude. calm down and stop worshiping your console...

Zune has a lot of functionality as an MP3 player, and as a previous iPod owner I can tell you for a fact it handles media a lot better.

It used to be said that the iTunes/iPod combo would never be matched. Zune Marketplace has G R O W N since then, offering full audio and video podcasts as well as the Zune Pass, which gets you unltd music at $14.99/month. Also your Zune and Xbox Live accounts are linked and share points/credit balances. Not only that, all the media licenses you o...

Saturn had the first analog controller (the 3D Analog Controller as it was known, for use with NiGHTS Into Dreams), while Nintendo was the first to ship it with a console (the N64).

Sony didn't get analog until around 1998, when they had the "inset thumb sticks design". These controllers didn't have force feedback though (I had one for a while), and fell to the almighty Dual Shock controller, which Sony began bundling with their consoles later that year. There are still...

You mean Sun Microsystems?

Then why can't they make a console as profitable as PS2 was? PS3 put Sony in a tight spot with its expensive hardware, and Kutaragi got "forced" into his retirement over it.

Yahoo email was my first email account, back in 1999. I still have it, and yes I still use Yahoo. Their new page format is pretty cool too, and they never seemed like they fell behind (though you can see the visual cues that linger around from it being part of the old web). I've actually never had issues with Yahoo over the years.

I use MSN too since it has the best format imho...hell, because my laptop was from HP the home page page on IE was set to AOL and I sorta got used to i...

A bigger HDD wouldn't make much sense. Having more space is always a good thing, but I think if you need 500GB or 1TB in a gaming console you must not have heard of networking or Media Center Extenders. Plus it's got to be a laptop HDD anyway, I can get a standard 3.5" HDD of comparable capacity and an enclosure for even less! In fact you can just buy an external HDD that already comes in an enclosure for less.

Of course having a bigger internal HDD for the console means tha...

They've only earned a bad rep from people who just hate to see them succeed and fanboys too concerned with their imaginary flamewars.

Look at how quickly Microsoft worked on Windows in only the last 3 years of Vista...there's major reform happening as we speak. They understand that support is important, so they got to working on Vista SP2 within barely a year of SP1. There's even an XP mode in 7 for the business versions aimed at supporting companies that still rely on older prog...

4 disagrees...some PS3 fanboys are already feeling the sweat of Natal shoving more PS3's into lonely closets.

That's cool, bring on the disagrees. It won't stop Natal from succeeding.

Yep! One more disagree, one more fanboy silently marking off a pretend victory.

Voice command can easily replace menu-driven controls in RPGs and RTSs (as proven with End War) that are normally mapped to cramped controllers. In an FPS game it could be used for interacting with NPCs and environment context features (like light switches).

Motion tracking can be used in scope/zoom views as you aim, instead of mapping that to the 2nd analog. It can also be used for gesture recognition (like Minority Report) in video editing and splitting of clips (like how Cruis...
