but don't kid yourselves that it's all realtime graphics. Just admit it for your own sakes, they've openly admited to it anyway.
5: blurays full of cgi
4: blurays full of cgi
3: blurays full of cgi
2: blurays full of cgi
1: blurays full of cgi
edit: disagree...with something naughtydog openly admited to? okay, but it doesn't change the fact that you're not seeing realtime until you actually play.
Nobody should expect that backing stuff up will be easy or simple. Using Media Center or central media streaming servers for your libraries should be a given. It's not as forgiving when it comes to game saves...
This is why I use the Memory Unit on my Xbox 360 for saves and the HDD for everything else.
...sorry, I've been on this really nice extended vacation since last Friday.
Hookahs...b*tches...35 foot river dives. Living on the edge. There's life beyond n4g it seems :)
The world is set to be taken by Xbox feaver once again...
Uncharted used the bluray for its cgi scenes, as naughtydog said themselves. If you're doubtful check it out yourself: there's no texture popin in those scenes and that's the dead giveaway right there.
This time around I'd say that UC is getting closer to what they had in mind, but it's still not going to be anything that rivals real life. It's really pretty, I'll give it that.
Just like how GT got to where it is today. They're different in a lot of ways though they're both dedicated sim racers. But the quality I've seen with Forza is just amazing. It just makes you wonder how much further Xbox 360 can be pushed. There's just so much more to do and it's already been 4 years.
Seriously, who wants a new console anytime soon? PS3 and 360 are really making their marks this gen :)
i haven't played so i have nothing to say against it. i can say that it has great graphics and that it looks like a fun game. i'm sure i wouldn't be disappointed if i bought it right now, since its multiplayer does look tempting.
There's also one more thing that makes Windows better than Mac OS...you don't need a Mac to run it :\
The software may be cheaper but the hardware is what keeps the Mac install base from ever reaching PC's status. It's overpriced for virtually the same parts you're going to get in any of today's PCs.
As for Windows 7, it's more than just a reworked Vista. I've actually been on Vista for quite a while and have had no problems with it. I got the beta of 7 and then the ...
I agreed with you, but Halo is not milked.
Two games so far, with another two confirmed this gen so far. There's merchandise besides the games as well but everyone does that. There's nothing wrong with expanding the world of lore that you've built, it's essentially what the fans want.
Milked would be a certain football franchise that gets updates to a few rosters, playbooks and whatnot and then makes you pay $60 for the game while the one you had last year go does do...
It's Sony's own fault for their ambition to make a system so built for everything else and making gaming secondary to its bluray push. It has roughly the same power as Xbox 360 and the games are there to prove that they're toe-to-toe. Microsoft's machine is inexpensive for them to build since they didn't go all exotic with some fancy named tech.
So now when we just take GAMES into consideration (leaving out movies and all that other stuff) Xbox 360 is the better option for most p...
Because before DLC there were expansion packs, and whether you liked it or not you were going to get that pink and white stripped costume...
DLC let's you pick and purchase only the stuff you want.
This is good news to me!
No competition? iPod was around before Zune and believe me competition was fierce! I used to have a 60GB 5thGen Video iPod until it failed on me and now I have the Zune 80 Touch.
...you mean that after all this time Sony is STILL chasing after the Xbox 360 when in reality the rival they need to beat to be number one again is Nintendo?
Microsoft...you dirty dogs, your deal with Nintendo to distract Sony is working :)
Because Thai ladyboys are hot :P
...well if you're getting your mom to pay then that's YOUR problem, I pay for my stuff.
Far is not a place so Halo can't go "to" it. It's actually paradoxical, since to go "to" far would mean that Halo goes where no other games have gone before...:)
So anyway, no Halo isn't going "too" far either. Only two games so far have been released, with another two confirmed so far this gen.
There were 5 Tomb Raider games in the 32bit era alone, one of which was a DreamCast game (and don't forget the PC expansions). Resident Evil had...
Right angles FTW.
Paint can do better, lol :P
well guess what i say...i say that what you've said isn't something that i agree with.
i'd say that i very well disagree with what you've said.
edit: you make good sense, it's true that it's all about what's out now. i had fun this year really, you can't say that there have been NO games. there's been P L E N T Y. besides, if you want a rushing flow of AAA titles to flood in anytime soon it's not happening right now...the economy is just so bad for studios to gam...
