Nobody wants an Xbox, and that was of Microsoft own making. Microsoft has been bad for gaming imo, yeah they should get out of the console business so that maybe some other company can launch. Not that it matters to me I've been happy with playstation since forever.
These dummies all work off the same script. Xbox is releasing a console with only more storage for 600$, that should have telegraphed what the price of the pro will be. Nintendo will release a $4-500 hundred switch 2 with outdated tech from jump. There is a Rog hand held that costs $800 people, tech prices are going up not down. People complain and say they want more out of consoles, but expect it for free. Why should consoles be stuck at the 400-500 range limiting what they can be capable of...

No they won't cut the price. The base model went up in price recently in certain regions. Component prices are going down and there was no way Sony was ever not going to make a profit on an elite version of anything.

I have had a great time playing games this generation with the ps5, don't think I played this much in the first 4 years of the ps4 generation. Demons souls, morales, returnals, ratchet, Spiderman 2, Elden ring, Gt7vr, horizon forbidden west, lies of p, helldivers, Ragnarok, Black myth, astro etc etc etc. Gaming media sucks these days they are a cancer much like all forms of news. @Jin_Sakai, they've pushed gaas on all their studios? That's news to me, lol. Stop making stuff up. Almost all of Sony's premiere studios are all currently working on single player games. There is nothing wrong with Sony investing in being good at everything not just single player. A Playstation that has both a strong catalog of multi-player and single player games in their portfolio is a healthier/ more durable Playstation.

PC weirdos are suddenly all over these console discussions now that that the pro has introduced ai assisted image reconstruction something Sony has extensive knowledge of from their television division.
