You can tell buy some of the comments in this thread, that if Gears was ever to make its way over to the ps3 it would cause alot of heartache to some n4g's members. I say let it go multi-platform it may force Microsoft to finally start investing in new original ips, which would be good for the industry as a whole.
These "impending doom" comments are unscessary. Sure no one can doubt that Nintendo has carried the way forward this generation with their surprisingly consistent sales numbers. But they should not forget that it was because Sony so dominated them for 2 generations that forced them to go in a "unique" direction with the WII. They are on top now, sales wise, but that doesnot mean it will last forever.
That was unbelievable, thats scary good. I wonder what else Sony SM could do with other Sony IP's. The graphics, the scale I actually got chills watching that.

Now that there is literally nothing left for MS to steal from the stable of old well know PS franchises, everything else is first or second party, what will MS do next? Its not like they have spent time and resources developing their own first party line-up. I tend to think this approach is pretty short sighted and will cost MS in the long run.

Reviews that are paid for are not just opinion, they are opinions given to aid consumers in making a decision. You cant just show up and say you dislike/like a game, that just would not fly. You have to be able to articulate well defined reasons, based on a criteria by which you judge all games, why you dont like a game and would not recommend it to the consumer. No offence but MS feeling good about the sad sales numbers they have posted in Japan over the last month shows how poorly they perform in that market. Comparing yourself to Sony who's sales have been poor as well is not a great indicator of overall success.
