Fair use gets thrown around too often here. Once a Youtuber monetizes a video, fair use gets thrown out the window.
Like it or not but it's the same reason you can't legally buy a Blu-ray movie, setup a public forum to playback the movie and charge a fee.
Clearly the big announcement will be Cranky Kong DLC.
@Griever
Read the person I was responding to, please. I'm not drawing PS2 comparisons...
@KryptoniteTail
The Wii U has better hardware than the PS3 just not as good as PS4 or Xbox One.
I suspect you never owned a PS2 either, it really had zero online infrastructure sans a small list of games (SOCOM, Resident Evil Outbreak). The Wii U has apps, a shop and most games have online components.
Calm down internet, you're drunk!
Valve WILL make Half Life 3.
Sequels aren't all they're cracked up to be and that might be Valve's hesitation. Would you want to create the "Matrix Revolution" of gaming?
Good list, I'll add a few. Partner with Sega and bring these:
1. Nights (from the Nights into Dreams series)
2. Knuckles (from the Sonic series)
If you're questioning why you should re-buy this, you're not the target audience!
Remasters are for the following:
1. Introduce the series to NEW fans
2. Introduce the series to PS4 owners that didn't have the PS3
3. Give the development team a chance to work on the hardware by porting a pre-existing game
Any sales they make from hardcore fans who want to experience the game again is a bonus.
Same for me... I was blown away! Their was a flying colossus and I was riding a horse. The sadness I felt in the finale...
I'm surprised they didn't say this but one of the huge benefits of having the team port the game is to get familiar with the PS4 hardware.
In the end, this should make the eventual God of War 4 (or whatever they call it) even better!
I see you trolling, baiting... trying to catch me typing dirty!
Yes, yes, carefully coordinated "mistakes".
I'm not in favor of this... I'm not sure the author is considering the impact this will have to online play or support on MK8.
I think some additional DLC (beyond May) would increase the longevity of this game just fine!
I won't play them personally but my nieces love mobile games! The gaming landscape has changed and whether we will play or not titles like "Super Mario Runner" and "Pokemon Puzzle" will sell like crazy for 99 cents...
A price drop and surge in system sales might entice third party developers. It's not Nintendo tat dev houses are against it's the smaller user base.
NX = Nintendo Experience
It's a guess based on UX being the common abbreviation for User Experience in development.
NX = Nintendo Experience
That's a guess on my part based on the commonly used term UX for User Experience.
I got this for my son as a Christmas gift, it's great.
Smart move for Nintendo! This will maximize their visibility and likely increase market share for their dedicated consoles.
Kudos to Naughty Dog. I wish more developers would do this... day one patches to make a game playable are not acceptable.
Is it stupid though? Reviewing a Nintendo game on YouTube can be done without showing video footage of the game.
