What do you mean by "a single player only game of this caliber"? Forgive me but we don't really know anything about it yet.

My main grievance with Judgment was the lack of multi player stuff included when compared to the previous game. So as long as they pack plenty of modes, skins and, most importantly for me, maps in the game (and not save them for dlc) I'll be happy.
I hope they show the 360 version. I know its the XBoxOne's big game but it would be nice to see something about the previous gen version and whatever differences there are.
Erm...why are we getting so feisty over sales figures. They are both selling well, so regardless of your preference, you can be happy to know your new console had a successful launch. Regarding this "it's only because the PS4 is out of stock" thing, well congratulations to both sides. To Sony for great sales figures with limited stock and to Microsoft for managing their stock levels to take advantage of that. See guys good news all round Woo Hoo!!

To be honest I cant really argue with that. I honestly, 100% truthfully had a total mind wipe regarding stock shortages. It never even occurred to me, of course thats the reason for the sales drop.

So going by this, since the PS4 sold approx 1,000,000 on day one, they only sold 70,000 over the next 6 days?
Now before i get burned at the stake, I am not knocking the PS4 sales at all. They are huge sales figures, i am just surprised by the drop off after launch day.
Then again im sure that always been the case with each new console launch.
Im thankful for the Kinect. Without that my kids wouldn't have got into videogames and I wouldn't have been able to convince my wife that we should get a next gen console for "the family" to enjoy ;)
Not really. The article is about the ps4 launching only a week after the xbox one in Europe and as of right now (beforethe PS4 launch) the Xbox One is ahead in Europe. Thusly the Playstation 4 IS hot on the Xbox One's heels. Though, looking at the global sales figures so far, im guessing it will probabably run right past the Xbox One by the end of the weekend.
I know they are free games, and yes I sound like a spoilt child, but this is almost insulting. Its like they are saying okay yes PS+ has had Sleeping Dogs and Saints Row 3 (soon to have Far Cry 3) but these are what we think you deserve on Xbox. Peter Molynuex is a talented guy and has made some great games but some times he really needs think before he speaks.
I can understand the whole "look how impressive these mobile game revenues are and they cost a lot less to make" side of it but come on Peter. $700-800 million dollars worth of sales in one day is amazing whether it's a $150 million budget AAA game or a $50,000 indie title. Hell even Activision are problably impressed and they make stupid sums of money EV...

I think it speaks volumes about the next gen launch games that the main conversation point seems to be each system's specs rather than the actual games coming out. I cant say im surprised, neither launch line up has me excited. I will join the next gen a little further down the line this time. I think GTAV and Arkham Origins will fill my time nicely until then.
I agree with you 100% vigilante_man. Until we actually get our hands on it there is no way to know how good GTAV is. That same rule also applies to both next gen consoles but this place is full of people who have made judgements without so much as holding a joypad let alone playing any of the games.
You cant come on here and start using logic, it wont be tolerated. But to all the fanboys on either side who are bitching about specs heres a thought for you....the most impressive game this year (GTA V) is being released on presnt gen consoles not next gen. The scope of that game beats every launch title on either console.
I used to love that film, mainly for the sound track and..err...Ms Jolie's performance.
To be honest, this will be the first I dont buy either next console at launch. Dont get me wrong I will get one if not both eventually but there are no games at launch that make it worth the early investment. Didnt they try the custom fatality before in MK: Armageddon? From what I remember it wasn't very good. Best leave it to the pros to surprise us with how sick they can be this time.
