To be honest its up to the developer to decide which is more important to them, res or fps.
At the moment, we're still quite early in the developemt cycle of next gen games so developers are still needing to make sacrifices to focus on what they thinks important. This practice wont last as they get more used to the hardware.

I think some folks see the 360 as the winner last gen just because of the huge market gain they made up on Sony from the previous generation. Remember PS2 was the most successful console ever whereas xbox only sold about 20 million I think.
True, if the sales slow down too much we might end up in Dreamcast territory (can you believe that a console that broke launch records at the time, failed so badly?). But as of right now, it's a success :)
I think has already won. Dont flame me, I dont mean it's won against PS4. I think having the 3rd most successful console launch of all time inspite of the absolute balls up of a system reveal and awful press is definitely a win :)
This game looks amazing. Though when reading about the FAME system I couldn't help but think of Kudos from PGR...man I miss that series.

Erm they are not attempting to "kill" Netflix or even compete in the same market. They're not streaming tv boxsets or movies just their own programming.

To be honest xbox fans are the ones most likely to buy the Last of Us remake. Well the xbox fans who jumped ship to PS4. Remember out of the 80+ millions PS3's out there the game only sold about 6 million copies (I think, could be wrong) so the remake is a great way to sell it to those new to the sony fold. Also Xbox fans should be quiet as they are gonna get the Halo 2 remake this year so both systems are as bad as each other. Besides no one forces you to buy them

A Skies of Arcadia sequel would be great, though im not sure how many, if any, of the people behind it are still at Sega. Saying that is Yu Suzuki still at Sega? Not sure Shenmue 3 would work without him.
Im in a similar boat, I love the retro style of Super Time Force. Also, Im playing titanfall on my 360. Looks like the dogs dinner but plays brilliantly lol
Graphics are important to a certain degree, especially at the beginning of a new console life cycle, but ultimately not a sure sign of a good game. Otherwise Ryse would be the best/second best game of this generation so far and the whole indie scene would be dead on arrival.
As much as I'd love to finish Ryo's story (got pt 1 on my dreamcast and pt 2 on my xbox), I cant see part 3 ever being released. The main problem being that the reason it has not been released already hasnt changed, the first 2 cost a lot to make but didnt sell that well. Maybe if they released them again on PSN and XBL (and sales are good) maybe they'll think part 3 is a worthy investment.
As much as it may annoy the xbots and ponys, it should not be a platform exclusive...
