I've been waiting ages, man. I know there's an English patch out there, but I don't feel like going through all of the trouble. I'd rather play it on original hardware without jumping through hoops.
That really surprised me as well. I'm glad more people will be able to experience the latest entry in what I feel is one of Sega's finest series.
If you read the author's gripes and looked at the screens he provided showcasing some of the worst visual bugs since Assassin's Creed Unity you'd probably see where he was coming from.
Here's hoping it sorts out most of the issues the game has.
Very helpful - thanks!
It's far from perfect, but it's an interesting oddity that adds some of the better refinements found in Sons of Liberty to the original MGS. It's divisive, sure, but I think it's experiencing at least once.
Can't. Freaking. Wait.
Turns out it'll be hitting all territories as a worldwide release that day. Don't fret - you'll be able to join the rest of us.
I'm right there with you. Everyone I know who played it enjoyed it immensely, but what I saw just didn't resonate with me. However, I'm excited to see what PlatinumGames has in store with this one.
Don' think I ever set off on a mission without Marina in my squad. That Darksen is one stone cold killer.
Well aware, but Konami owns Hudson Soft. In that regard, it's theirs. I'm a big fan of NEC's console myself, and my Duo and Duo R still get steady play.
That said, few companies who developed for the PCE have a better stable of software under their belt than Konami. Rondo of Blood, Star Parodier, Salamander, Policenauts, Twinbee etc. They worked miracles on NEC's 8-bit powerhouse. I dislike Konami's antics as much as the next guy, but if anyone were to t...
Not gonna lie, this had me laughing my ass off.
It's ok, but definitely not the best of the bunch.
I wouldn't mind seeing Shining Force get an animated film.
@monolith - Switching turning to "smooth" resolves the issue of incremental rotation.
I'm pretty excited for FarPoint myself, though I have to admit that Robinson: The Journey's 3-hour story that was touted as a 5-hour adventure has me a bit worried that FarPoint may fall into the same trap.
In any case, I'm expecting we'll see FarPoint sometime next spring, most likely early March.
You sure about that? As far as I can tell FarPoint's release date is still TBA. RE7 is just over a month away.
Honestly, it feels like a better fit than most of the stuff that's been released for the headset so far. And Capcom has added a number of control configurations to ensure that those who haven't quite come to grips with free movement in VR should still be able to find a comfortable way to play.
Yeah, the oil seems to be the biggest question in my mind. I can't help but wonder if the seemingly supernatural things showcased in the footage are a result of the oil itself (some kind of psychotropic toxin), or if Kojima is really going for some kind of total psychological head-trip. In any case, I love the direction this is going in.
Or we could just...I don't know...let people enjoy what looks to be a great game on their system of choice and be glad no fans of the series are being left in the cold?
