Nice to see parallel quests making a return.
Can't wait to snatch this up.
Loved the original.
You and me both. Yakuza 5 was one of the best surprises of 2015, and this looks like it has the potential to be even better!
Gotta go with Ifrit.
No, I had plenty of tun with Oasis Games' other, much improved shooter - Pixel Gear.
Glad to see you appreciated it! :D
@oricon - A Sony Fanboy website? Seriously?
Looking back at our review archives these are the scores for the past 5 games we've covered on Nintendo hardware:
Yo-Kai Watch 2: Fleshy Souls 4/5
Gurumin 3D: A Monstrous Adventure 4/5
Azure Striker Gunvolt 2 4/5
Ace Attorney: Spirit of Justice 4.5/5
Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse 5/5
Yes, we're absolutely, unapologetically biased against Nintendo...

Something With Interesting Tech Champin' Hard.
What are you talking about? The majority of the piece praises the new and innovative tech and ponders the possibilities of what it can do. Pointing out obvious concerns, especially those that linger in the minds of those who felt let down by Nintendo's past few consoles, is not being negative.
It definitely has some potential. Here's hoping Nintendo doesn't squander it.
It is - but the Wii U had substantial third party support out of the gate as well. The main challenge will be keeping those studios committed to supporting the hardware in the years after its release. If the system proves incapable of performing adequately, it's very possible we'll see other studios go the way of Ubisoft and turn a cold shoulder to the Switch.
To be fair, Vita remote play combined with a PS4 already does that exact same thing.
Those are the things I love about the premise. It's just a matter of how well everything is executed, and if nothing is lost by spreading the hardware so thin to ensure that it performs adequately in each of those environments. :D
It could be great, but third parties support is going to be the thing that makes or breaks the Switch. If Nintendo can deliver a capable machine that does everything the console promises while delivering the horsepower devs need to make compelling games, the system could be a great success.
However, if they drop the ball or the battery life sucks, games look dated, etc, it could leave the console as little more than a novelty with a whole lot of wasted promise.
...
The funniest thing to me is just how tame Red Faction was when compared to the other games featured prominently on "the list". Grouping Volition's shooter with the over-the-top gorefest that is Splatterhouse is nothing short of absurd.
Fun game. IFI's releases keep getting better and better.
It's also available on Steam.
At $20 I think it's a fair asking price. It's just not something you'll find yourself coming back to time and time again except to maybe show off to friends as a sort of gateway to what VR can do. If Rocksteady decided to add a few more chapters I'd argue it'd be a must-have for the headset. As it stands it's just a really convincing use of the hardware that's definitely worth at least one playthrough.
Any idea how many characters round out the game's roster?
