Just a matter of basic history. Just like IBM half a$$ed and let Intel move in, Intel got arrogant and is letting in AMD and ARM. People that don't see are the ones that will be sitting around dreaming of the days when their stock portfolio had value.
It's obvious Intel is still arrogant. You would think with the number of people now looking to AMD they would at least address the elephant in the room. But no. They think like you. No one can take them down. Just look...
Intel has been getting over on people for years. They've been exposed now and it shows they have held back and gouged customers. Time for ARM to move up and send Intel to third place and oblivion.
Skull, he can't. He can hate on Microsoft but that's been the only thing I've seen. Even though most of his articles are Sony love letters, he manages to take a shot at Microsoft in the headline. And headline is the wrong word. Opening Sony a** kiss is more appropriate. Scorpio can not be matched for $800.
Exactly. They like to pretend to be righteous god fearing people. In reality they allow themselves to be controlled by cons and opportunist. And they too often interfere with natural behavior in the name of rules their own god abandoned centuries ago. As you know some of the idiotic states in the bible belt outlaw things like vibrators. Yet they quickly holler about individual rights. It's a shame so many good people down there get subjugated to their inability to accept reality.
Old enough to know too much religion is bad. How old are you?
Far Cry 5 revolves around religious fanaticism. Not sure I want to here about the things that happened to you in the game. I've seen a lot about what religious fanatics are in to.
That was funny Septic.
Death is exactly right. The idea of Microsoft's deficiencies is some kind of misplaced insecurity projected on a corporation. Anything positive will be turned into a negative if Microsoft does it. Any negative will be blown out of proportion.
Look at price. Microsoft is often called greedy. They are taking a loss on X. People say the console cost too much. People don't buy their exclusives, highly rated or not. People say they need to make more. Sony charges for BC ...
An article only a Merican would click on. Lol
Funny Tesla uses the same naming nomenclature and no one has said a negative word about. If anything people have thought it was funny Musk planned to have his combined car lines spell out sex. Damn you Ford.
But suddenly with Microsoft it's confusing. For all of the Neanderthals in the world here's a simple list of clues.
The box will be different.
One is black, one white.
One has 4k enhanced on the box.
The 4k gaming...
Hey, Frosty. I'm sure if you reread your comment you'll realize the problem with it. Yes, your system may be more powerful than Scorpio. Three times more powerful is debatable. But not you clearly mention it's three times the cost. I'm also aware that given your knowledge of what Microsoft did with X if they spent just $300 more in manufacturing costs they would completely kill your $1,500 computer. For that they could add RAM and Zen and go with more power on the GPU. X is pr...
This shows how sad people can be. The game releases in February. We know Ubisoft has devkits because we saw Assassins Creed at the Microsoft conference. We've read stories from several developers about their ability to get games ported to Scorpio and running within hours. This is another example of the pitiful state of gaming "journalism" and clickbait articles. Ignore and move on. When companies like Forbes and Business Insider started spamming gamers with clickbait articles y...
You're not the average American. Most Americans work in areas like service industry not attorneys or engineers. You can leave law school and start working for a major firm at 24 and start at $130,000 annually. That is normal. But also completely normal is over half of people who start college never finish. Of those that do, iirc, only between 30-40% are considered qualified for a job in their field of study. Around 30% will never get a job in their field. More women attend college than me...
If they are dynamic resolution they will scale to the machine. Patch with 4k textures and you're set.
I believe Microsoft is making a mistake in the way they handle Xbox. While Xbox should be strictly about gaming, console manufacturing should about pushing technology forward. We know Microsoft has used some of what they've learned from gaming hardware in other areas. They need to do more of it and really push Xbox to enable things like Surface and Hololens to rely more on Microsoft developed technologies to sell them.
Hololens came from Kinect. Things Microsoft built i...
That's pre-tax. The average for an American family of four is around 32,000+ a year. Or that's the poverty line. Around 40% of American families are at or below it though and the number is increasing. Capitalism, yeah.
The sweet spot for consoles is actually $299. That's when the general public jumps on board.
You can't compare console and PC 1:1. It is obvious from Digital Foundry testing that the X performs well above it's specs. That's why you see articles saying it's more like a $1000 PC. There are differences in custom hardware. X contains elements of Vega and Polaris. The bandwidth in the CPU, which was the biggest issue with cat cores, was heavily increased. This isn't an apples to apples comparison.
You're wrong on pricing. The reason is in my previous post but I'll clarify. Consoles are already adjusted for currency in other countries and it's a hindrance. CPUs and GPUs are getting cheaper. Look at what you paid for a Titan two years ago compared to now. We got a much cheaper price and a much more powerful GPU.
What caused that? Technological advances and a huge die shrink. AMD went from $5-600 GPUs for six teraflops to $250 for the same. Microsoft took t...
Still interested. Android rebellions are my zombies. I'm sick of everything zombie. Except the song from I made a game with zombies in it. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah.
Their are too many directions to go with the story.
