Hey Just Beanz, you're suggesting I pay the $1000-1200 it would cost for a comparable PC. That makes sense. I'm not stupid enough to pay ridiculous prices for a few more frames. If you're paying top dollar because your PC is required for your business fine. If it's the main thing you use your discretionary income on fine. But if you you're the average Joe with additional interest or other responsibilities you would be a fool to pay $1200 for something you could get for $50...
After reading the article I would bet the real issue is potential revenue and upkeep cost. It could require any licensing agreements to go through Microsoft where they would chop off a chunk. Could involve potential in-game advertising.
Before I look. Is Sony's argument they blocked us first?
Maybe they should use we don't want our players information running through Azure. We don't feel we can guarantee the integrity of the security opening our system to theirs. Anything technological would probably fool most.
Sony super fan Abizzel waiting a year to launch would have been a mistake. Contrary to the hopes and dreams of some Sony can't launch another console next year. That gives Microsoft the advantage of coming behind Sony the following year from here out with superior performance. What Nintendo should have done (though they seem to have gotten away with it despite the Wii U).
For Sony to launch next year it would require them to make a 1070+ level console in under two year...
Just another example of why you should never surrender your money to the stock market. Here's some person writing about the games industry and its clear he doesn't know anything about the games industry. There are several more shows where companies showcase games. There has been a movement away from E3 and more towards individual showcases.
I will say Microsoft dropped the ball on price. It's odd that a company that scraps so many projects and products after mil...
Someone is desperately in need of attention to write that headline. Bet they're checking on the number of hits every few minutes.
"She boss, they like me. They like me fine".
By just saying the word Sony to the fanboys?
Remember the old days when playstation fans complained the 360 would hold back the PS3? Remember how angry the prospect made them and all of the complaints of lazy devs. Guess they're over all that.
Nice to see how they have grown. Or is something else at.... "play" here?
Haha. Haha. HAHAHAA!
And talk about milking. They are rehashing the same franchises. People talk about Halo. Now we have Uncharted: Totally not like a Ghostbusters re-make
Horizon: Baby it's cold outside version
God of War: Take your kid to work addition
At some point in Uncharted buddy picture the black one goes "I'm gettin too old for this sh*t".
Horizon tagline will be "Spring is coming".
GoW: "Daddy I ...
Phantom Dust is free and the MCC was seven games five games, not one. See the difference.
But the real point is Microsoft has eliminated the need for re-masters and re-makes. Dynamic resolution and patches are in the best interest of the player. Do you prefer to pay again?
If you build it they will come.
You really think developers aren't going to flock to a closed system with Xs specs. Especially small developers. The extra power and ram makes their jobs easier and also opens up PC and phone cheaply. The exclusives will come. I did see some first party exclusives at Sony's show. I saw them at last year's show too.
So the extra $100 is a problem even though you get a 4k bluray player. Yet Sony fans will have no issue paying for Shadow of the Colossus for a third time.
Here's a way you can save a lot more than $100. Buy an Xbox One X and never pay $60 for an upgrade on a game you already own again. When we move to 8k Xbox and PC owners will already have 8k games. BC is guaranteed and the games will scale with a patch. There isn't currently a guarantee PS5-6 will have BC.
And yet it's Skyrim. I'd buy it.
Sony has heard your cries and will gladly sell Shadow to a third time. Good luck with that.
That mouse is totally going to fix your PC.
I haven't clicked on the link. Is David Carnoy still with CNet? That headline sounds exactly like some of his shill work.
Sony are huge Ice Cube fans.
Kids are a little more tech savvy now a days. They go online and print out list. And you probably don't have kids yet. Unless the parents are addicts or really struggling they'll figure it out. There are more than a few parents that go to great lengths to please their children. Companies even market things with the kids in mind because they know it is a huge influence.
Microsoft shows a game on Xbox and PC and you guys holler that's not exclusive. Sony does it and you remain silent. Sony launches a bunch of exclusives, most of which lose money, you guys brag about it.
Microsoft should have shown more. But last year most of what you guys said made Sony "win" E3 are timed exclusives. Something you criticize Microsoft for. Just learn to be consistent. I could post Sony loses money on most exclusives and get 50 downvotes despi...
X isn't a minor upgrade. Going with a 6 teraflop GPU on it's face seems like it. Usually consoles jump six to ten times in power. This is more like four. But, the results are a big step up in how it performs.
We had started seeing games dropping from 1080p/60. One didn't even hit that consistently. Now we're talking 4k/60 on some games. While PS4 and One gave us lower midrange PC performance at launch, X takes us back to when consoles gave us lower end high ...
