It is a form of paying to get a game. it's no different from what MS does to secure Gears as an exclusive. MS paid for a 10 million dollar advertising campaign.
We don't need more articles like this. They take up space and crowd a page that could be used for real information. Last generation went on for 8 years(and continues) and none of the original articles were ever solved. They would still be going if it wasn't for new consoles.
Personally to me it's obvious that the PS4 will have more graphical power. But with the 8GBs of embedded memory on the One I believe it will have abilities with physics and AI that PS4 won...

Some Sony fans are such frauds. They go on and on about MS and TV. All the while they ignore that the PS4 does almost all of the same features. They act as if Jack Tretton didn't mention that PS4 would have exclusive content and movie streaming.
The Wii U came too late in the game. If they had launched it in 2010 with a little more power they would have been in a position to leapfrog the competition in a year or two. Now they wasted a ton of money with a dead on arrival console. Maybe they need to start now on a more powerful console for 2016. People like goat are just short sighted. And you have to wonder if they can think for themselves. Funny how so many criticize MS for doing this when Sony is doing most of the same things. PSN now mimics a lot of what the 360 did as far as advertising and a payment required. Sony has it right when it comes to what goes behind a pay-wall. Others aren't thinking outside the box. If you can have some control over both the Titan and two (normally)NPCs, they would be better than claymores and bouncing betties at watching your back. Plus if they use a AI system like Forza to help them learn to react more human like it should be nice in the beginning and get better with time.

On a more serious note people have to remember that if this is sold with all content and/or new content it would be nice for those that don't own it. Plus it isn't as hard to make an Xbox One and PS4 version from the PC version considering the architecture of the new consoles. So far better graphics, some mod content and all DLC(plus a much cheaper price) might make this worth picking...
Respawn are the people that developed CoD. The first one(and most of the rest). They have innovated the FPS genre several times now. I trust them to be inventive and to make this work. When it comes to gaming nothing is futureproof. Within a year far more power GPUs using release. Same for CPUs. It's a matter of having the money to upgrade and having developers take advantage of the new capabilities. "Futureproof" is a marketing tool. Nothing more.
Could be a situation where each of the six humans has a Titan and a AI squad at their command. Instead of bouncing betties. Leave guards. I think people need to wait and see what they do. Too much short sighted speculation as usual.

SOme people on N4G need some business classes and a history lesson. Just remember last generation. The Wii outsold everything because it reach a wider audience. More countries does mean a chance to reach more potential fans at a given price point. Also remember all of the PS fans that used the higher price as a reason for 360 selling more.

Consoles could die but it will be because small chips have so much power now, with far more in the future, that you won't need the console anymore. Your phone or tablet will have more than enough power to handle your gaming needs.

You get a good deal but these estimates are based on those types of deals. What other companies paid for similar parts or similar work. There are better offers sometimes, but they are usually close. iSuppli is very good at tear downs. I would bet their estimate is in the same range as the others that have been made.
You have to wonder if they have moved development to the new rumored Wii console.
